Emra sat there right before she started her therapy session and clenched her phone.

'As much as I despise that hero, he went to Izumi out of anyone. Let's see if she'll respond to this.' Emra thought and quickly went typing into her phone.

Izumi laid on the couch, still holding her legs by her arms and her eyes were swollen and burning from how much she cried.

'Momo tried to make me feel better, but it didn't get rid of the guilt. Why didn't I test those gloves before I gave them to Kacchan? I can't afford to find another job, and I don't want mom and Emra to be disappointed in me. I've failed to protect Kacchan...' Izumi thought. She felt the couch vibrate and looked down to see her phone lit up.

'What was that?' Izumi grabbed her phone and slowly opened it to see a text from Emra.

I'm coming back home sometime tonight, I've managed to take care of things with my work. For now, go visit Aunt Inko and stay there for the night.

Izumi could tell Emra had gotten news about what happened to Katsuki and how worried she was.

Okay, I'll see you tomorrow.

Izumi sat up from the couch and walked into her room. Because she was so worried about taking care of Katsuki the night before, she had no time to take care of what happened to her room. Her room smelled of old blood and her bed sheets were covered in old blood too.

'I'll just clean this first and then go see mom.' Izumi thought.

She pulled all her sheets off and placed them inside the washing machine and started the washing right away. She changed her clothes and tried to fix her hair as best she could. Her body felt tired and she had no energy like she did the day before. She put her shoes on, grabbed her bag and keys and left to go to her mom's.

The front door opened and Inko froze when she saw how tired Izumi looked.

"Hi mom, sorry for barging in around this time." Izumi said with a tired smile.

"I-Izuku!" Inko yelled and hugged her daughter tightly.

"I saw the news, did they manage to find Bakugo?" Inko asked.

"Yes, they took him to the hospital right away. I've had a long morning." Izumi said.

"I can tell, and I can tell you haven't had anything to eat this morning. Sit down and I'll make you something before we go visit some close friends." Inko said.

"Close friends?"

"The Bakugo's, I'm sure they're as worried just as much as you are, Izuku." Inko said.

"Inko! I'm surprised to see you here!"

"Hello Mitsuki, we hope we weren't bothering you today." Inko said. Mitsuki tilted her head and saw Izumi standing behind her mom.

"Izumi!" Mitsuki yelled and hugged Izumi right away.

"I saw the news of my son and I'm sure you're scared! I was so scared when I heard they didn't find him until this morning! But I'm sure you're worried about his recovery." Mitsuki said.

"I-It won't be easy for Kacchan... but you must be sincerely worried about your son." Izumi said slowly.

"Oh my goodness, you two come in, and I'll make some tea!"

Both greenettes sat down and Izumi still had the thought of guilt coming from the back of her head.
