Before Takashi opened the door, he stopped and placed his index finger over his mouth and looked at Katsuki.
"What the- why're you-"
"After the fight... when we noticed you didn't take your medicine yet, Katsuki knew that right away. He saved you, I didn't. He really... really does care about in the way that I wanted you to be cared for." Emra said, Katsuki froze.
He went up against the wall and tried to listen.
"Emra, you really-"
"Katsuki reminds me of myself, my younger self. When I was younger, I always thought I could do things on my own and be fine with it. But after my accident, I was wrong. I needed the help of those around me, and it changed me to be the person I am now. I told you I was not raised properly by the right kind of people. Those people treated me like wasted space, like I was a weapon that they thought they could get rid of at any time. But after meeting you and Aunt Inko, I realized you were my real family, and I wanted to protect my family." Emra said.
Emra stood up from her chair and carefully grabbed Izumi's right hand and looked into her cousin's eyes.
"Katsuki needs you as much as you need him, and I completely approve of him being by your side. You just need to know that if you stay with him, you have to be prepared for anything that comes. I'm not saying Katsuki is a dangerous person, I'm saying everyone else around you can and will be dangerous." Emra said. Izumi felt so much warmth from Emra's hand and tears were streaming down her face.
"Emra... you don't know how happy I am to hear you say that!" Izumi said and hugged her cousin.
Katsuki stood there and couldn't believe what Izumi's cousin just said. He felt like his shoulders were lifted from all this pressure and stress he just went through.
"It's not a dream, Katsuki, people change. You have changed the most." Takashi said. Katsuki looked up at him and he nodded.
"Let's go inside." Takashi said as he opened the door. Izumi and Emra turned their heads to see Takashi standing at the entrance to the room.
"Takashi."
"Is everything taken care of?" Emra asked.
"Yup, and I'm not alone. C'mon in." Takashi said, looking at whoever was standing next to him.
Izumi froze when she saw Katsuki entering the room, he looked exhausted.
"Kacchan...." He looked up at her, then he looked down to see the large cast covering her left arm.
"Ah- I'm okay, really Kacchan-"
"Stupid..."
"Huh?"
"You're stupid, why didn't you let me go with you, stupid!?!?!" Katsuki yelled.
"Ah- I'm sorry... I was so focused on making sure everyone saw you that I didn't think about myself again!" Izumi said with a bright smile, Katsuki froze.
He was surprised she seemed perfectly fine even with a broken arm, he grit his teeth. He placed his hands on her shoulders and she looked up at him.
"Huh? Kacchan?"
"Don't ever fucking do that again, got it?!?!?" Katsuki yelled.
"Oh, okay." Izumi said. She looked closer and he had tears in his eyes.
"Kacchan, why're you crying?" Izumi said, placing her hands on his cheeks. Katsuki tightened his grip on her shoulders and pulled her into a big hug and held her as his tears streamed down his face.
