115: Soul

"Midoriya." 

Izumi froze when she recognized that voice. She turned her head to see both Melissa and David Shields standing there.

"M-Mr. Shields..." Izumi said nervously. 

"We have something we need to discuss." David said. Izumi turned her eyes to Melissa and knew it was something bad. 

"Ah- Dynamite, it seems you're here as well. That's not surprising." David said. 

Katsuki looked down at Izumi, and her body was shaking. 

'Why's Deku shaking?' Katsuki thought.

Katsuki had to sit outside with Melissa, he wasn't sure exactly what was going on inside, but the sight of Izumi shaking wasn't something he thought was good.

"I'm sorry that you're involved in this, but my father knew something was up the second you got involved with that incident yesterday." Melissa said. 

"What does he want with Deku?" Katsuki asked. 

"He just wants to make sure that the rumors are true or not." Melissa said. 

"Rumors, what rumors?" Katsuki said. 

"The rumors about you... and Izumi, together." Melissa said.

David dropped the stack of pictures onto the bed and Izumi picked them up and looked at every single one. She was shocked when she realized that every single one had her and Katsuki together, and not just standing together, they were moments of them getting really close. Around the end of the stack, there were pictures of the two of them hugging and kissing a few times. 

"How long has this been going on, Midoriya?" David asked. 

"How long? I-Is that really-" 

"Answer me, Midoriya? Tell me if you've been going around with Dynamite right now, and tell me how long you've been fooling around." David said.

'Fooling around? When did I ever think I was fooling around with Kacchan?' Izumi thought. 

"Was it the minute you were told you were going to be making Dynamite's new suit? Sooner than that? After that? When?" David demanded. 

"I-It was... It was shortly after I was working on his suit." Izumi said slowly. 

"So have you been using him? Were you trying to get close to him for some kind of gain?" David said, Izumi froze. 

"Gain? What kind of gain would that be?" Izumi asked. 

"You were using him to gain more attention for the company, weren't you?" Izumi froze. 

"Mr. Shields, that's never been something I would even do in the first place. I would never use Mr. Dynamite." Izumi said.

"So then, are you going to tell me how long you've been going around with him?" David yelled. 

"Mr. Shields, how did you know about this in the first place?" Izumi asked. 

"You haven't seen the news yet have you, Midoriya? Then here." David said, grabbed the tv remote and the first channel that was on was the news. 

Izumi looked up and froze when she saw that Katsuki was kissing her at the airport right after the incident involving the League of Villains. 

'It's... it's all over the news, me and Kacchan?' Izumi thought.

"I had to pay a lot of money from the press to make sure these photos didn't get leaked onto the media. Do you know how much is at stake if this is released? People will come after the company, and this is not what we're trying to do! Back when I told you to persuade Dynamite to get a new suit, this was not what I had meant!" David yelled.
