97: Ding Dong!

"Izumi, where have you been all week? I got worried something bad happened to you and your quirk again." Melissa said. 

"Everything's fine, I've just been staying at Kacchan's this week and watching over him." Izumi said, Melissa froze. 

"W-Watching over him? Did he wake up?" Izumi nodded. 

"Is he feeling better now?" Melissa asked. 

"Yup, it just sucks that this all happened on my birthday which is the only thing that ruined everything. But I've been able to get a lot closer to Kacchan since he finally woke up." Izumi said. 

"So then, does that mean your cousin approve's of you being around him?" Melissa asked. 

"Not 100% yet, but she has allowed me to take care of him this week since he isn't allowed to do any hero activities yet." Izumi said. 

"Hmm, well I guess that's okay if your cousin's been letting you visit and practically live with him." 

"Yeah."

The days passed by faster than Izumi realized and it was already Friday, and she was lucky Katsuki 'allowed' her to come to work. 

"You kind of got a break this week with helping Dynamite in a way." Melissa said. 

"Not really, every time I thought I was alone, Kacchan would try and get in my space." Izumi said, she was getting flashbacks from the past 3 days.

( Flashback to Wednesday )

"Kacchan, I'm home." Izumi yelled, carrying groceries from the market. 

She knew he was somewhere, but didn't look around as she went straight into the kitchen to set everything down. Before she could take anything out of the bags, she felt a slight push from behind and then two arms wrapped around her waist. 

"Ack- Kacchan!" Izumi said as she could smell his scent of sweet caramel. He rested his chin on her shoulder and stood there. 

"Kacchan, I need to put this stuff away." 

"No, not yet." Katsuki said and then rested his forehead onto her back. 

"What's gotten into you Kacchan, you've never been this clingy." Izumi said, trying to move. 

"Then let me be clingy, you were gone for a really long time." Katsuki pouted. 

"I was only gone for an hour." 

"Yeah, and it felt like forever." Katsuki said.

( Flashback to Thursday )

Izumi was in the middle of cleaning the dishes after they finished dinner and she felt arms wrapped around her waist again. 

"Kacchan, I need to finish cleaning, you'll slow me down." Izumi said. 

"I don't want to, you were sitting at that stupid table all day and I didn't get to hold you." Katsuki said with a pouting face. 

"I'm sorry I still have a job and was busy taking care of things all day. Would you please let go?" 

"No!" Katsuki said and tightened his grip on her waist. 

"K-Kacchan! Alright, that's it." Izumi said and activated her quirk and a cloud poofed in front of Katsuki. 

"Again!?!? Why the fuck did you-" Katsuki looked down to realize he was holding the cat in his hands. Izumi didn't look happy, but she lifted her paw up to his face. 

"You get 5 minutes, then you have to let me go." Izumi meowed. 

"Heh- don't know what that means, but it sounds like an hour to me!"
