Both of them were closing their eyes and were just about to let their lips meet when-
"What are you two doing?!?!" Emra yelled, both of them froze.
"E-Emra! I d-didn't-"
"Don't try and make an excuse, and you let her go right now!" Emra yelled. Katsuki immediately let go of Izumi and she literally jumped off the bed and ran out of the bedroom.
"If you try doing anything to Izumi when I'm here, you're gonna pay." Emra said in a serious, almost scary, tone. Katsuki went numb by how scary Emra was, she left his room and went back into the kitchen.
'Shit, why's Deku's cousin so much different than Deku?' Katsuki thought.
Because of that incident, Izumi had to sit next to Emra while Katsuki had to sit next to Takashi for dinner. Takashi could tell something happened as Izumi was blushing a lot, Katsuki looked traumatized and Emra just looked pissed.
"Hpmh, I can't believe you would think of trying to pull something that stupid when I'm around. How do you like someone that's so childish, Izumi?" Emra said, as they started eating.
"H-He doesn't usually do that, Kacchan was just tired and wasn't thinking straight!" Izumi said, trying to make a good excuse.
"Like I'm gonna fall for that, Izumi! Did you actually forget that I was literally in the next room?" Emra said.
"Can we please not talk about this at the dinner table?" Takashi asked, and it went silent.
"So Emra, how have the preparations for the wedding been going?" Izumi asked.
'Oh yeah, Takashi said he's getting married to this crazy cousin of Deku's. September, was it?' Katsuki thought.
"They've been fine, we're still waiting on half our guests to respond to our invitation, nothing else has been stressing us yet." Emra said.
"We're not stressed, because we'd handled everything months ago since both of us were going to have busy schedules around the time of our wedding." Takashi said.
"Why September? That sounds like the dumbest time to have one." Katsuki butted in. Izumi quickly kicked Katsuki before Emra could say anything, his face felt her kick and he grit his teeth at her.
"Kacchan meant why is your wedding in the beginning of fall?" Izumi said right away.
"Because the fall was around the time me and Emra first met." Takashi said, Izumi and Katsuki froze.
"It was around the time I was still a hero and I just happened to meet Takashi in the hospital when I was helping bring injured citizens there." Emra said.
"And I was in the middle of training to become a doctor when I met Emra there." Takashi said.
"You were a hero, that's hard to believe." Katsuki muttered. Izumi heard his mutter and kicked him under the table again. He looked at her and was glaring, but she was glaring back at him more intensely. Katsuki sighed and looked at Emra and had to find the right words to use this time.
"Why aren't you a hero anymore?" Katsuki asked in a calm voice. Emra was a bit surprised that Katsuki of all people was asking her that.
"I retired after I got involved in a car accident trying to save a few civilians." Emra said without any enthusiasm.
"L-Let's not go into full details! Emra has gone through a lot in the past and doesn't like bringing it up!" Takashi said, trying to persuade them away from the topic. Izumi knew the fact that Emra retired from hero work, but she never said why or how.
