ASHAANGI- KADAVUL SETTING ❄☃️❄ (COMPLETED)

CHAPTER 18

The two were talking about the episode and watching it in peace. Ashwin in the episode says 'Neran geta vela la varale.' When Shivu crosses him.

"Yen apdi sonna Ashwineey?"

"Recipe maranten ma. Nee avalo cute a soltu poniya. I was trying not to blush." Shivangi just ruffles his hair.

Half way through the episode he could see Shivangi moving uncomfortably in the sofa. Shivangi leaves between the episode and return 10mins later and when questioned doesn't say anything.

"Ashwin, enaku sadam vekariya? Please? I want to eat tayir sadam. Amma enna supervision ilama cooker use pana kodadhu solirka."

"Enama achu? Nee dhane Chinese vangalan na. Are you ok. Romba nelinjunde iruka?"

"Back pain romba iruku ma. I'll eat and take meds."

"Na pidichu udava? Tayir sadam pathadu ma. You eat this. Na unaku more tharen." He says rubbing her back.

"Seri. Na poi amma thara kashayam kudikaren." Shivangi goes to the fridge to take the stock of Pudina water prepared and Ashwin follows her.

"Enna ma idhu?" Ashwin asks as she adds couple of those ice cubes to her water bottle.

"Amma prepares them in bulk ma. Cramps ku it helps a lot. Idhula kekalena I take meds." She tells him and goes back to watch the show. (GUYS THIS ACTUALLY HELPS. IT GIVES SOME RELIEF.) 

They eat their dinner and Shivu takes her meds due to pain not lessening.

"When will Pugazh come? I don't want to leave you alone till he comes." Ashwin says patting her head on his lap.

"Prechana illa ma. Anna has a key. Late ana he'll let himself in. I can be alone ma. Vali dhan iruku mathabadi I'm ok." She tells him hugging his waist.

"Ok let's go to your room. Anga padu ma. I'll sit with you."

They move to her room where Shivangi makes him sit comfortably leaning against a wall and snuggles up to him.

"Sleep ma. Text amma and appa you are gonna sleep and I'm here till Pugazh comes." She does that but keeps shifting in bed.

"If this position is not ok sleep how you do. Na inga pakathula okaren."

"Illa I'll sit for sometime." She keeps her head on his shoulders and slowly drifts to sleep.

Ashwin also sleeps having forgotten that Pugazh will come home. And that's how Pugazh found them when he came home at 12 in the night. He had texted Shivangi that he'll be late but got no reply and assumed she must have slept. What he didn't expect was to find her holding on to Ashwin like her life depended on it even in her sleep. He could see Ashwin's hand around her, holding her close to him. Ashwin even in his sleep was rubbing her lower back. This did not sit well with Pugazh.

"What are you doing here?" Pugazh growled at Ashwin shaking him but keeping his voice down to not wake up his sister.

As a reflex, Ashwin pulls her close to him hiding Shivangi from the direction of the voice. He saw her stir in her sleep and massaged her head to put her back to sleep.

While all these happened in a fraction of a second, nothing was unnoticed by her brother. Pugazh loosing his cool repeats the earlier question with more menace.

This wakes up Shivangi who holds Ashwin close to her who was trying to move from her. "Don't move. I'm comfortable like this. You are so warm."

"Shivangi move from him. Enna panra nee?" Pugazh scolds her causing her to jump in shock.

"Anna?" She whispers confused sitting up and Ashwin does the same.

"What are you doing here?" Pugazh asks looking at Ashwin. "And you? Why are you hugging him like that?" He looks at Shivu.

"Pugazh, Pugazh calm down. Na solradha kellu. Nothing happened here." Ashwin tries to pacify him. "Anna na elan solren. Kathada bayama iruku." Shivu tells him at the same time.

"Kathama? Konjuvangala? Get up." He gestures towards Ashwin who nods and tries to get up but Shivangi hugs him.

"Don't. Stay here."

"Shivangi." Pugazh warns but she doesn't listen.

"Ma, na engayum pola. I'll just get up and talk to Pugazh. Please kai ya viden." Ashwin explains and Shivangi agrees. "Pugazh please calm down. Nee nenaikara maari lan illa. Please sit down I'll explain everything."

Pugazh has now calmed a bit could think better. He'd be lying if he said he didn't doubt about them. It was the very doubt which had caused him to come to Shivangi's house after first day of shoot, arrange for Rakshan and Sharath to watch the episode here and him being here now.

He knew something but didn't know the details. He didn't know if they had told each other, told their families, heck even if they themselves knew.

But, seeing his younger sister, his papa hugging someone and sleeping made him angry in an instant. And to see that Ashwin was holding her to him made him go mad. He couldn't think and had shouted.

When he saw how Ashwin's instant reaction was to make sure Shivangi was protected and how he tried getting her back to sleep melted him a bit.

When Shivangi pulled Ashwin closer to herself he lost it. Sure, he had known her only for a year but he looked at her like she was his own sister, his daughter. Seeing her disobey him but listen to this stranger according to him hurt.

He has to calm down, he thought to himself. He has to listen to them. He can see how much Ashwin cares and can see how safe Shivu feels with him.

Maybe just maybe, he should give them a chance. He takes a deep breath. "Explain."
