"Your parents?" Ashwin asked her shocked to which she just shrugs her shoulders. "I blabbered so much. Oh god. Aiyoo kadavule." He mumbles to himself.

"Tension avadhinga Ashwineey. Nalan idhoda bayangrama olaruven. Cool down cool down cool down (Read in vadivelu modulation.)" She rubs his arms.

"Ashwin, I have seen you in Ninaika therinda maname, I really liked your work. Future ku all the best." K appa tells him and Ashwin thanks him.

"Ashwineey." Shivangi whispers asking him to bend to her level. "Na andha serial vitla theriyama pathurken. Serial patha thituvanga tu, friend veetla papen. Semmaya irukum." She tells him.

Ashwin looks at her shocked and she blinks back at him assuring him she is being honest. Ashwin couldn't help but blush and mumbles out a thank you.

"Ashwin, why don't you call up your parents. Nanga call la pesarom." Binni ma suggests.

Ashwin freezes and just nods and unlocks his phone. In the excitement he is unable to search for the number and seems like he has forgotten how to use a phone.

Sure, this was not the first time he's meeting someone famous but he was hella nervous. He would not call himself a huge fan of the KrishnaKumars but his parents were. The excitement of fulfilling a wish of your parents always has it's kick and this was a huge wish.

Shivangi who looks at him pressing random things, like he hasn't used a phone before pokes his arm to get his attention.

"Shall I do it? How is the name stored as?"

"Amma. Thank you." He hands over the phone and she just blushes smiling at him.

Soon her parents were talking to his. Like how any conversation with Indian parents go, they discussed relatives and friends and found out they knew the same people. In the 15 minutes they spoke, they even exchanged numbers.

Shivangi was called by Punith and Rio and Ashwin followed her.

"Shivangi, edha padariya? Romba naal achu nee padi kettu." Rio requests.

"Ahn. Ok ney. Enna paatu? Na stove mela padata?"

"Apdina?" A confused Ashwin asks her.

Rio just laughs and says edha romantic a padu. She thinks for a couple of seconds before deciding on Kannalane.

The entire crew just listen to her mesmerised. Ashwin just looks at her with so much adoration and respect. He was completely moved by the song and was almost in tears.

"Shivangi, semmaya padna?" Rio exclaims ruffling her hair.

"Ma semma. Enaku azhugaye vantu." Ashwin says chuckling and wiping his eyes.

"Indha film la padraya?" Punith blurts out. "I have heard you sing well, but ivalo super a irukum nu theriyadu. Do you want to sing in short film?"

"Nejamava? Thank you thank you thank you thank you." Jumping up and down hugging Rio and Punith.

She just holds on to Ashwin and jumps up and down, with each jump reaching to his height. Ashwin not sure what to do holds both her hands securely incase she falls down. When her parents came to them hearing the commotion, she continued with the same.

"Maaa, paaa. Anna asked me to sing for them. I'm gonna sing my own song. First own song." She squealed.

"Congratulations molle ana nee ipdi kathna voice poidum. Aprom pada mudiyadhu. Inga va." Her mom called her and kissed her forehead. Her dad was equally excited and whispered that they'll jump once they reach home again.

The shoot was soon over and everyone went to their respective homes. Shivangi couldn't stop smiling the whole day. Around 10 in the night she received a dm on insta.

'Congratulations ma. I'm so happy for you. This is Ashwin btw."

"Thank you Ashwineey. I'm so glad my debut will be in your movie. One of my top crushes."

"Maa, enna ma nee."

"Ashwineey unaku oru vishayam theriyuma? Namba amma appa kooda number exchange pantanga. Namba dhan panla."

"Enna ma ipdi direct a number lan kekara?"

"Yen? Boys mattum dhan kepangalan?"

"Ila, girlsum kekalan. Ana enkita nee dhan first alu."

Their conversation soon changed to WhatsApp and then soon to a phone call. Their conversation and bond bloomed.
