CHAPTER 19

"Anna he stayed with me because I was not feeling good. I think we just slept off hugging." Shivangi blurts super fast before the men in the room could calm their nerves enough to talk.

"Na adha mattum kekala. He was.." Pugazh is cut of by Ashwin.

"I love her. She's my girlfriend, best friend, well wisher, my everything, heck she even cares for me like I'm her child. She's my life and I love her."

"Huh." Pugazh huffs and walks back and forth trying to calm his nerves. "Evalo naal a poitruku?"

"6 months as of Nov 7th."

"6 months. Idhu yen sonadhu illa Shivu? Nee love panra nu solla vendam. Ipdi othan irukan nu kooda sonadhu illa? Yen? Was it him? Did he tell you, you shouldn't tell anyone?"

"What?! NO.. It was me. Ashwin wanted to tell everyone from day one. I didn't, na dhan yaar kitayum solla vidala. He used to keep asking me now and again but I didn't agree. Actually ipo dhan nethiku and munda nethi we fought about this. That's when we talked about it and he made me understand how it's important to tell you. Tell all of you. Actually we decided to talk to you tonight. Nejama. It's my fault. I shouldn't have slept off." Shivangi mumbles in the end crying into her palms.

"Ma, vali la apdiye okandurpiya? I shouldn't have slept like that. It's on me. And it's not just you I agreed with you to not reveal about us." Ashwin rubs her back to calm her down.

Pugazh sat there looking at the two in front of him. They seem to have forgotten his presence. He was happy the two stood up for the other. The very act of Ashwin which irked him five minutes ago, warmed his heart now. He walked upto his sister and hugs the crying form to himself.

"It's ok Shivu. I believe you. I won't shout, I'm not angry. Will you tell me everything which happened? Now stop crying." Shivangi nods her head and begins talking.

"Anna, you know Rio anna la? I had once told him that I wanted to visit a movie shoot and he told me he'll take me to his shoot. Inga pakathula shooting iruncha, anna ena kootanga. Na, amma and appa ponom. Anga dhan first Ashwin a pathom."

Shivangi was sitting next to Rio and talking to him during the break when she sees a 5'11" hunk dressed in a blue shirt and jeans walk towards them. He gave a gentle smile while crossing them and went to speak with Punith. She glanced back at him occasionally, sighting him discreetly.

Shoot began and was sitting on the parapet wall watching the on goings. She saw him again when he silently stood leaning against the wall. He was glancing nervously in the direction of her parents. Shivangi was observing his every move. He will take a deep breath, stand straight, look like he wants to go to her parents but then seconds later sigh and lean back again. When this repeated for the third time she couldn't help but giggle.

Her giggles broke the trance Ashwin was in. He was nervous to go and meet the legends sitting 30ft from him. His parents are a huge fan. He really was trying to build up courage to go and ask them for an autograph and a photo. If he wasn't this nervous he would've requested for a video wishing his parents an Happy Anniversary. His nerves weren't helping him but that sweet giggle instantly calmed him down. He smiled in the direction of the voice.

"Hi. I'm Shivangi." The cute 20yr old extended her hands towards him.

She was sitting on the wall watching the shooting keenly. He'd be lying if he said he hadn't noticed her earlier. She must be Rio's sister he thought. He saw her when he entered the sets in the morning and her behaviour had immediately caught his attention. Under normal circumstances, he would have had trouble forming words when the girl he finds cute talking to him. But today, the KrishnaKumars had his attention. The legends were already making him nervous and shockingly her presence calmed his nerves.

"Hi. I'm Ashwin." He replied shaking her hands.

"I know you. I have seen you in ads. Also Rio anna said you are the other lead."

"Oh. You must be his sister. He said you'll come today." His eyes kept glancing back at her parents.

"Yen anga anga pakarenga?"

"My parents, especially my mom are huge fans of them. Ena Ra ra pattu keka Chandramukhi padathuku 10 vati kootu ponanga." He replied not knowing how or why he was so open with her.

"Go and say hi." She suggests.

"Ma, adha pana dhairyom varama dhan inga ipdi nikaren." He huffs leaning back against the wall.

"Avalo dhane. Vanga. Ada va Ashwineey." She dragged him by his hands to her parents.

"Idhu Ashwin, he is the other lead in this movie. He wants a photo with the two of you and your autographs. His parents are big fans." Shivangi announced to her parents who were smiling at Ashwin who could do nothing but wipe sweat of his forehead nervously.

"Ma, edha nenachuka poranga. Ipdi vandu kekara." He whispered to her and before she could reply he heard Rio.

"Bro, looks like you met our Vijay TV chella kutti. Shivangi, Ashwin a amma appa ku introduce pantiya?"
