The occasional vehicle passing by on the road was what broke their trance. Pugazh had asked her to stop talking soon after she told him about their first meet. It was eerily silent and Shivangi couldn't stop herself. She knew she'll cry if she doesn't talk.

Pugazh sighs and goes towards Shivangi. He slowly pats her head, making her remove her face buried in her palms. He wipes her eyes and kisses her forehead.

Pugazh's face showed no emotion. They had no idea if he had accepted them or is still angry or is against them. He doesn't say anything and walked out of the room, holding the door for Ashwin to exit.

Ashwin sat on the sofa not sure what to do. Sleep was the last thing on his mind. He badly wanted to stay with Shivangi. He knew she'll be similarly confused. He just wanted to hold her and make sure she sleeps.

The kashayam she drank. Didn't she say it gives her some pain relief. Maybe he can go to her room in the pretext of giving her that. He had a feeling her pain was back and she can't even take another tablet. He quickly repeated the same thing she did and went to her room with a hot pack.

Pugazh who was in the room opposite to Shivangi's could see Ashwin entering her room. He tiptoed to her room door to see what Ashwin was doing. It warmed his heart a bit to see Ashwin's care for his sister.

He could see Ashwin adjust a hot pack on her back and give her some drink. He had then asked her to lie on her stomach so he can keep othadam with the hot pack. Shivangi slowly drifted to sleep. Pugazh could see Ashwin get up to leave after kissing Shivu's forehead.

Pugazh went back to his room and sat there. Maybe Ashwin wasn't all that bad. He should really get to know him and them before doing anything. He decided to get to know Ashwin. If his sister is happy, so is he.
