Chapter 82 Down the Witches' Road (Sacred Chant)

Happy New Year, everyone!!! And here's a New Year's treat for you all!!!

Today was the day of (Y/n)'s big initiation at the Community. She was so glad that everyone was able to accept her invitation. Her people were getting the Community for the big party after the initiation. (Y/n) was reading her new spell book until she realized that it was time for her to get ready. (Y/n) was going through her clothes until she found her black tank top and black jeans. She remembered that Tempest told her she needed to wear something that had her arms exposed.

As (Y/n) was pulling the shirt over her head, she looked over at her mirror, and her eyes widened. She had completely forgotten about the huge yet light scar on her back. She can't remember how she got it, but Husk mentioned she got it from her first Extermination Day, 7, to almost 8 years ago.

(Y/n) lightly traced her scar as tears shed from her eyes. No matter how much she tried, she couldn't remember. It's only bits of it. From flying away from the Exorcists, Alastor suddenly appeared beside her, looking worried, and waking up in Husk's care. Her head kept hurting every time she tried to remember. She didn't realize that she was crying so much until she felt something nuzzling her legs. Cerise and Garnet were rubbing their heads on (Y/n)'s leg to comfort her. She kneels and hugs them. "Thanks, girls, I feel a bit better." Wiping away her tears, she went back to get ready.

Back in the lobby, everyone was ready for (Y/n)'s initiation. Though Charlie and Vaggie were a bit worried about leaving the hotel unattended, (Y/n) told them she got it covered. She even got Razzle, KeeKee, Frank, Fat Nuggets, Cerise, and Garnet to come to the initiation. Everyone saw the outfit that (Y/n) will be wearing.

"(Y/n)? But today's your initiation. Aren't you going to wear something more festive?" Charlie questioned. "Don't worry, Charlie. Tempest said to wear something like this. I even went to confirm with the rest of the coven back at the Community." (Y/n) waved her off. She then cracked her fingers and used her magic to summon some shadow staff for the hotel while they were gone.

"Follow me, please." (Y/n) led them outside. Once outside, (Y/n) began to remember the spell that she studied from her new spell book. She took a deep breath and worked her magic. Two dark shadows formed from the ground and took the forms of two giant dragons. They roared as they stood guard at the hotel.

"Whoa..." (Y/n) was speechless at her new power.

"What the shit?!" Everyone else yelled out. Cherri ran towards (Y/n). "Fuck, (N/n)! I didn't know you could do that!" Cherri cheered as she shook (Y/n)'s shoulders. "I didn't either!" (Y/n) yelled as Cherri continued to shake her. Angel had to grab (Y/n), so Cherri wouldn't shake her more. "So are we heading or what?" He asked. (Y/n) nodded as she led everyone to the Community.

Outside the Community territory, Marshal was waiting outside with the other guests that (Y/n) invited. The Hazbin crew was shocked to see other Overlords that (Y/n) invited, but not surprised that Agnarr was there. But were shocked to see Zestial, Camilla, her daughters, and Rosie, whom (Y/n) invited. Marshal smiled as he waved over to (Y/n). She waved at him back and flew over to him. She then turned to everyone. "Esteemed guests. I thank you all for coming to our little gathering." She smiled at everyone. "If you would, please follow me." Marshal bowed as he led everyone inside the Community.

Inside the Community, everyone was doing the finishing touches for the banquet that would happen after the initiation. Charlie could see Isabella helping Trooper and Glenn with the tables. Marshal had placed everyone in their seats since the ceremony was about to begin.

A female elder sinner walked over to the center of the floor. "Welcome, esteemed guests, you have honored us all by witnessing the most important moment in our leader's life." The old woman spoke up. She was a cat demon with faded magenta fur all over her body, gray hairs sticking out on the top of her flowing hair, piercing electric blue eyes, and wearing clothing from the 1600s. Not only that, she has two hellish tigers standing by her side. "I am known as Granny Witch, the elder of the coven, but we had no leader since Eclipse Storm." Granny Witch paused.  "But now, not only will we initiate (Y/n) as a witch of the coven, but she will officially be the coven leader of the Community Coven!"
