(Y/n) and Agnarr continued to fly in the air until they reached the rooftop of his mansion. She landed at least five feet away from him. Agnarr looks over his granddaughter before he sighs. "I guess I should start from the beginning." He sits on the ledge as (Y/n) follows.

Turns out their family is cursed to die in fire-like deaths, just like the rest of the (L/n)s before them. The curse is meant for those who were supposed to practice their magic after their 13th summer. But since (Y/n) practiced her magic early with Alastor, the curse got to her first. The curse had been haunting the family for over 300 years. Many from her family have tried to break the curse, and none have been able to succeed. No one knew who gave them the curse, and there's no way to break it. Well...not yet at least.

"So everyone is going to die in fire just like us? Mom? Jason? And his kids?" (Y/n) asked as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. "I'm afraid so." Agnarr nodded his head sadly.

He remembered his death. It was back when he was still in Crypt Hills, he was riding his motorcycle just to clear his head. He didn't know how it happened, but he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. Before he could use his magic to save himself, his powers suddenly weren't working. Which led to the crash to start a fire. The only victim was himself, meaning he left his family behind.

(Y/n) wipes her tears. "Well, that's not gonna stop me from finding a way to break it." Agnarr smiled softly at her. "You can try, but it's gonna be a challenge. I should know I've tried. Along with the past (L/n)s." (Y/n) nodded at him. "But I know I'll find what I'm looking for then." She then lets out a sigh.

(Y/n): I have climbed the highest mountains
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you

(Y/n) sang softly as she looked at the sky. She turned to her grandfather as she gave him a smile.

(Y/n): But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

(Y/n) stood up and walked to the other side of the ledge. She begins to sing loudly as it lets out an echo. For some reason, she hopes someone else will hear her voice.

Agnarr: I believe in the Kingdom Come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
But yes I'm still running

Agnarr joined in the singing. He stood up to join (Y/n) by her side. He smiled at her as he placed his hand on her shoulder. (Y/n) smiled back at her grandfather.

(Y/n) and Agnarr: You broke the bonds and loosed the chains
Carried the cross of my shame
Of my shame
You know I believe it

They both then begin to sing together. They both spread their wings and glided through the air. They smiled at each other as they flew higher and faster.

(Y/n) and Agnarr: But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for...

They let their voices echo in the clouds as they flew higher. They circled each other as tears were on the corners of their eyes. They stopped flying in circles as they stared each other with pure joy. (Y/n) flew over to her grandfather and gave him another hug that he's been longing for. He laughed as he hugged his granddaughter tightly.

They finished their singing as they flew back to the rooftop of his mansion. Agnarr placed his hands on his granddaughter's shoulders. "You're stronger than you look. Remember that, (Y/n)." She nodded at him. "I will. And I'll be back for training." Agnarr was happy to hear that (Y/n) would be continuing her training with him, but she let him know that she still plans to train with Carmilla as well. That, he had no problem with. Seeing the time, he knew that it was time for (Y/n) to get back to the hotel. She gives him one more hug before she flies off.
