Chapter 73 New Pentious (Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us))

Hey, everyone! Here is the first chapter of Season 2! I may be changing some scenes that I posted in the trailer chapter while Season 2 continues on. I hope you all enjoy it!

Time had passed since the battle with Adam and his Exorcist army. The Hazbin Gang had won, but they lost many people in the battle, especially their dear friend, Sir Pentious. With the Hazbin Hotel finally remodeled after it was destroyed in the battle, it was time for the Re-Opening. In Pentagram City, Katie and Tom's voices can be heard throughout the city as they spread the news.

With their voices being heard all over, a bird is seen perched on the "Welcome to Hell" sign, grooming itself. A second bird arrives shortly, glares at the first bird, then breathes fire at it. The scene then switches to a plaza with a big screen, where 666 News was airing. Along with sinners doing their own thing with the news in the background.

Tom Trench: Good morning, Pentagram City!

Katie Killjoy: This is Katie Killjoy.

Tom: And I'm Tom Trench.

Katie: Bringing you the latest in Hell's hottest news. Tonight's top story: What the fuck is going on at the Hazbin Hotel?

As the news continues in the background, a certain newcomer is making his way to the Hazbin Hotel. He passed a storefront  TV display where a crowd was watching the news. Katie and Tom can be seen with a crude drawing of Charlie decapitating an Exorcist.

Tom: That's right, Katie. It's been a while since Heaven attacked Hell, and Charlie Morningstar and the Hazbin Hotel brutally slaughtered the invading angels and kinda-sorta saved us from the Extermination.

As Tom was giving his side of the segment, Katie then kicked him away from the frame.

Katie: When you're done sucking toes, Tom, I'd like to remind you that Heaven still hasn't made their next move.

When Tom climbs back into frame, Katie crushes his hand with her fist, which makes him fall again. He then climbs back up as he wraps his hand with bandages.

Katie: Are they coming back for revenge, or is this yearly nightmare finally over?

Tom: Morningstar has declined to come on the show to comment. *Coughs* Pussy.

Katie: But we will keep asking until we break her. Because the world needs to know, Tom.

Katie grabs Tom by the collar and drags him closer.

Katie: Will she stop at angels? Are you next? Is your dog or cat next?

Katie pulls up a quieve and a cat and throws them at Tom as they proceed to maul him.

Katie: Will her bloodlust ever be satisfied?
Who's at the top of Charlie Morningstar's hit list? Maybe it's ME!

The camera then zooms in on Katie's face to show her eyes glowing in fake fear. Then she calms down in front of the camera.

Katie: This segment brought to you by...

Katie and Tom: VoxTek! "Trust us with your everything!"

The news then concludes as they promote VoxTek.

Now, the new Hazbin Hotel is seen full of sinners who are gathering in, but they were checking in for the wrong reason.

"This'll be great. I'm looking forward to getting in here and fucking up some angels."

"I love murder. I can't wait to kill some angels."

Inside the lobby, more sinners were waiting in line to be checked in. KeeKee is seen flying over them as Cerise and Garnet happily follow her. Razzle is seen carrying a suitcase while Lucifer is walking down in his bathrobe, brushing his teeth. Alastor and (Y/n) were on top of the stairs staring at the crowd. Razzle flies by them as (Y/n) gave him a friendly wave, which was returned by her little buddy. As for Alastor, his staff was partially fixed with glowing green stitches that sparked with electricity. He glares at it before glaring at the crowd. He felt a hand on his arm. He turned to see his daughter smiling at him. He smiled back at her.  He smoothed down her hair and planted a small kiss on her forehead. She smiled, but it changed to a glare when she heard sinners' comments about coming to the hotel to kill angels. She couldn't help but glare at all of them.
