[Oh? Kamusta flight n'yo?] Bungad saakin ni Sandra nang sagutin niya ang tawag ko. Lumabas muna ako sandali para matawagan s'ya.
Si Gianna naman ay kasama ni ate Melody sa loob ng mansyon. Tanaw ko sa harapan ko ang kalinisan ng lupain namin. Lahat ng bulaklak at halaman ay matitingkad ang kulay at buhay na buhay.
"Maayos naman," sagot ko sa kanya. "Sa condo ka mag-s-stay?"
[Oo, hanggang sa bumalik kayo.. babalik pa ba kayo?] Her blubber. [Baka mamaya pagbalik mo dito may plus one na kayo, ah,]
Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi niya. "Plus one?"
Sandra chortled from the other line. [Little Gideon ba, 'o baka little Roxana. H'wag mong ipaglilihi sa sama ng loob, ha?]
Sumimangot ako sa sinabi niya nguni't ramdam ko rin ang pamumula ng pisngi ko dahil nakuha ko kung ano iyong biro niya.
"Sandra..." I called her using my annoyed voice.
She was still laughing, and I was just completely annoyed. When she slowly recovered from it, we started talking about my plans after I reclaimed my properties. Gianna and I might stay here for a while, and I think Gideon won't easily give it to me.
I resigned from my job, and it took one month before they approved my resignation. Balak kong magtrabaho sa law firm kapag nabawi ko na.
"Where am I sleeping?" I asked Gideon while we were eating. Yael and Joshua have already left. They said that they still have work. Gianna is sitting beside me while Gideon is sitting on my dad's usual seat.
The table seemed so empty. I can't help but remember those times when my family was complete here while having breakfast, lunch, and dinner while talking about how our days went. It saddens me every time I remember them. It's been 10 years, but I'm still missing our times together.
"Sa master bedroom," sagot ni Gideon na s'yang ikinatingin ko sa kanya.
"Doon ka natutulog hindi ba?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
He nodded at me and got some tissue to wipe his wet lips. "The other rooms are still under renovation. Only the master bedroom and your room are available. Gianna will stay in your room before. I will have it renovated before we come home."
"I'll sleep with Gia, then," I told him.
Ano bang balak niya? Sa tingin niya ba ay tatabi ako sa kanya sa pagtulog? Siraulo ba s'ya?
I looked at Gianna, and I saw that she was looking at me.
"I want my own room, mommy," she murmured, making me part my lips.
"Don't you want to sleep with me?"
"Why sleep with me if you can sleep with Daddy?"
Pakiramdam ko ay tinakasan ako ng dugo sa sinabi ng anak ko. I heard Gideon coughed. Nasamid yata s'ya sa sinabi ni Gianna. Sumama ang tingin ko sa kanya ay nakita kong umawang ang labi niya habang nakatingin saakin.
"I'll sleep on the couch, don't worry," he stated, and his cheeks flushed. "I'll just stay there for the meantime until the renovation on the other room is finished."
S'ya ang lilipat?
Gusto kong tanungin s'ya kung bakit s'ya ang lilipat gayong s'ya na ang mayari ng dati kong k'warto. T'yaka bakit n'ya pa pinaparenovate ang mga guess room? Ano namang gagawin niya doon?
I just sighed and even though I wanted to complain more, I don't have the energy left. I wanted to rest after this dinner.
Inihatid ni Gideon si Gianna sa magiging k'warto niya habang ako naman ay dumeretso sa master bedroom para magpahinga na. Sumilip rin naman ako sa k'warto ko dati at totoo nga ang sinabi ni Gideon na pinarenovate niya iyon.
