Chaeyoung POV

I heard the two footsteps walked away. Now that I'm a tad relaxed, I took in the smell of the house. Could a scent be described as warm? Because that's what this house smell like. Something flowery mixed with something baked like warm bread. Last time I didn't notice about it as I'm too stressed with grandpa condition.

"Easy on the teddy bear." Jeongin said from somewhere in the room.

My head snapped to the direction his voice came from. It took me a moment to analyse that I was holding the bear by the neck. Tightly. I cleared my throat and fixed my grip to a more human and less serial killer. Jeongin chuckles next to me making the tense ease a little. I felt him move to the point that he was standing in front of me.

"Are you that nervous?" Jeongin asked laugh at me.

"Hmm, yeah. I don't know why though." I said laugh nervously.

"Actually, I'm about to asked you something early. I hope you didn't mad. Do you like my sister?" He asked straight to the point.

Woah! His question got me off guard for a split of second. Well, do I? Definitely. But, she is? I don't know about her and that's make me nervous. And now with he question, I'm double nervous. But, I think I should be honest with him. Honest is the key to any relationship.

"Yes. I do. But, I don't think she's a gay. Beside, with my condition." I said in low.

The confident in first three words jolted a new realisation that stirred inside of me. I wanted more than just liking. But, I know who I am.

"Your condition? You meant blind?" He asked.

"And, don't you know love is blind. Because love choose whoever it wants. Like our aunt. Love in first sight. Yeah, I know they both already fall in love. Isn't it blind? Because your aunt don't even know who is aunt Mina. But seeing her early, I bet she already whipped over aunt Mina." He continued and laughed.

"What I want to said is, Sana noona didn't care about your condition Chaeyoung-ssi. I don't know about the others. But, I do know my sister. She's not the one who look the outside. Besides, she's too whipped with your love and her love. And for you question 'is Sana gay'? The answer is yes. If you know how she always described you, talk about you and care about you. She's like you. No, I think she love you." He said then his eyes widen.

"Oppssiie, I just told you my sister secret. So, you better not hurt her. If you hurt her, I will-." He said and I cut him at the last words.

I know what he would said.

"I have no intentions to hurt Sana." I said cut his warning.

"I do like her. A lot. No, I think I love her. I respect that you are looking out for your sister. Let me promise you this, hurting Sana is the last thing I want to do. And thank you for telling me her secret." I said serious.

And I think that got me on his good side when he finally announced sounding satisfied.

"Glad we made things clear. I just don't want her to be hurt. I love her so much and she's the only one I have. Oh yeah. If you want to know about her, just asked me. I got a lot of her secret on my pocket." He said and I could hear his smirk.

"Well, thank you then. If I need something will find you." I said. He steps started to move when I stopped him.

"Oh, Jeongin-." He cuts me off.

"Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me." He said and walked away.

I smiled. All of Sana's stories about Jeongin were something and being confronted by him was something else. But, that kid was cool. Then, aunt Mina came back and I knew aunt Jeongyeon were with her as I smell her scents. I bet, she now grinning like an idiot because of aunt Mina.

"Here, let me help you get to Sana's room." She offered.

Her voice was heading my direction, when I took a step back making her stop.

"I appreciate if you just pointed me the right direction." I said.

"Of course! Sure." She said.

She didn't sound embarrassed or annoyed at all. She simply placed the plate in my hand then she pointed me towards the stairs.

"Second floor, second door on the right." She give me direction.

I dragged the tips of my shoes to measure the height of the steps then slipped it forwards to check if there was another step while my palm ran flat on the grainy wall guiding my way. Smacking my finger with the first door frame reminded me to slow down. By the time I came to a stop in front of her door my heart jumped out of rhythm. My fingers ran over the frame memorising the touch of the smooth cold material. Dry, rough coughs slipped through the door followed by and exhausted gripe sigh. Knocking the door, I couldn't shake off the thought feeling that her sick because was my fault. I always noticed things, changes, but then why didn't I this time. I sigh heavily.

"C..m..n.." I hear her.

I made out where the handle was and gently opened the door.

"Marco." I called out.

There was a sudden ruffle.

"O.. m... g..d, p..lo. Pol.." Her voice is different.

Her voice is hoarse and gravelly. It faded and strained through the words. That bothered me in some way. Voices was one of my ways to identify the people I knew. If they were happy, sad, anxious or disappointed. What I lacked in sight, I covered with hearing. At this moment my hearing wasn't cutting it for me.

"Wh..t ar.. y.. d..ng h..r..?" She asked.

Hearing her voice like this making me more guilty. I was still standing in the threshold have not stepped inside yet. The surprised and glee was unmistakable. I knew then that I have made the right decision by coming here.

"Well, I'm on my delivery duty." I said.

I moved the plate a little to her see it.

"Your aunt made you some sandwich." I added.

Then, I made a serious frown.

"Please tell me there is the sandwich on this plate I'm holding on and I didn't come up here with an empty one." I said.

I think Sana got my joke and laughed. Not in her regular ringing laugh. Rather a throaty faded one that ended in a series of painful coughed. Slowly, I made my way inside.

"I'm sorry." I said.

I apologise to her. For making her sicks. The tightness in my chest increased. Sana's room smelled like, Sana. Warm, sweet and calm. If I could imagined it right, her room must be bright a cheerful just like what she was. Her perfume scented the place lightly. There was the distant scent of medicine too.

"Car..fu.. m.. sl..p..rs ar.. ..n th..t w..y." She warned me followed by the low rustle like she was getting out of the bed.

"Stop! Stay in bed!" I said to her but more like the words come out as an order.

"I w..s ju..t." She started to squabble.

"I said stay!" I again give an order.
