Ch. 22

Shawn's POV
*two days later*

After staying in the hospital for two days, the doctors sent me home and gave me a medicine to take.

I had to take one pill every morning for a week.

There was a lot of pills in the bottle.

And I was confused as to why they gave me so many.

Bri's POV

I decided to stay home the day they let Shawn go home.

He needed his rest.

But eventually, I got bored and I decided to go to the mall.

I didn't call Faith because I wanted to go by myself.

So, I grabbed my keys and drove to the mall.

When I got there, I walked into Forever 21 and bought a white crop top with a 😍 emoji on it.

Then, I decided to just walk around and have my fun.

Soon, I got tired and sat down on a bench and waited.

I didn't know what I was waiting for but, I knew that I was waiting for something. Like I knew that something was going to happen.

Then, just as I finished my train of thought, I saw him.

I saw Shawn pressing a girl up against the wall.

Tears dripped from my eyes and onto my lap as I was speeding home.

I felt so alone. Used. Stupid.

Of course he ran off, he was probably faking being sick the whole time and ran off to see her.

And after all the things we've been through. He just throws them away to be with another girl.

*Three days later*

I had been ignoring Shawn for three days since I saw him with that girl.

But he hasn't seemed to notice.

I didn't get one text, call, dm, facetime... from him.

Not one.

I was starting to feel depressed again and started harming again.

After being two months clean, I ruined my streak because of a stupid boy.

I felt like I just wanted to jump off of a cliff.

I just wanted to die.

I felt worthless and horrible.

I thought he loved me. I thought that he felt sparks when he pushed his lips up against mine.

But I guess not.

And when I saw Shawn with another girl, I had nobody to run to, except for Faith, but she is on vacation to Florida.

I didn't talk to her, either.

I ignored my parents, friends, family, boyfriend, teachers, councilor, brother, and anybody else you could think of.

I was a mess. So, one day, I decided to go to Shawn's house and confront him.

So I drove there and opened his house door with my key that I had.

And nobody was home.
