Ch. 5

Brianna's POV
"Y-you're protecting me?" I asked.

"I guess," Shawn answered.

"From what?"

Shawn pulled away from me and put both of his hands on my shoulders.

"From people like Matt."

I smiled and looked down.

"You don't have to do that for me," I said.

"Yes I do," Shawn said to me.

He leaned in and kissed my forehead and I blushed.

I looked up at him and said,"Shawn, I love you, you know that, right?"

He starts to blush and says,"I love you too."

I smiled.

Shawn put one hand under my chin and one on my shoulder.

"Brianna Alice Smith, will you do me the honor and be my girlfriend?" Shawn asked me.

"I will," I said and smiled.

Shawn's POV

SHE SAID YES! SHE ACTUALLY SAID YES! I DIDN'T THINK SHE LIKED ME! I'M SO HAPPY!

After she answered, she laid down next to me and fell back asleep. The next thing I knew, I was asleep too.

Saturday morning, I woke up and Brianna wasn't next to me. I looked around the room and I heard somebody in the bathroom.

I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep.

The door opened, and I heard foot steps. I opened my eyes and pretended to just wake up.

"Good morning sleepyhead," Brianna said.

"Morning, what time is it?" I asked her.

"It's nine, get up," she said to me.

"Well, give me my extra clothes," I said.

When Brianna was depressed, and I came here every day to see if she was okay, I would have to sometimes stay the night with her so she wouldn't hurt herself. I decided that it would go on for a while, so I brought over a couple pairs of my clothes and kept them here. I just haven't taken them home yet.

"Here," she said throwing the clothes at me," get dressed in the bathroom.
