Bri's POV

It all was slow motion from there.

It felt like a movie.

I swung the door open and hugged them both, and started crying.

Then, we unpacked the car and sat down while Nash and Cameron greeted them.

Then, in the middle of talking, the toilet flushed.

And Jaxson walked out.

I mom jumped up and ran to him. She squeezed him as hard as she could while my dad got up and hugged them both.

Then, we sat back down and ate dinner while catching up on things.

Like how school was and if I was okay staying home alone for half a month.

Then, I heard a knock on my front door. I got up and walked over to the door and opened it.

Shawn's POV

I still sat behind the tree, thinking about why I hit Matt.

I wasn't really thinking when I did it. It just happened.

I felt so bad. I didn't mean to hurt him.

Although, he did mentally hurt Bri.

And I knew that Bri didn't want him to get hurt. I knew she started crying once I hit Matt, she started crying.

As I was thinking about this, at a time where I was weak because I knew I not only made one person weak too, but two people weak, I started to cry.

Bri's POV

"Hey!" Faith said and invited herself inside.

She had a bag in her hand and there were balloons tied to it.

"Hey," I said, walking with her to the dining room.

When she got in there, she gave my mom the bag and said, "It's from my parents. It's a welcome home gift, for you and Ty."

"Tell them we say thank you," My dad said, uniting the balloons.

Then, they opened the bag and pulled out the gift.

It was a candle and a wooden picture frame with a picture from when our families went to Cancun together in it.

My mom looked at it and said, "We love it."

Faith stood there and smiled.

Then, she left.
