Shawn's POV
When the movie was over, Brianna was asleep. So, I turned the movie off, and got on my phone. I had a text from a blocked number.
It said...
I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. YOU STAY AWAY FROM BRIANNA. SHE IS MINE AND WILL ALWAYS BE MINE! DO NOT TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME. IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW MY ORDERS, I WILL HURT YOU.
I got really scared, really quickly.
Then Brianna woke up.
Brianna's POV
When I woke up, Shawn was on his phone. His eyes were huge. He looked over at me and asked," Who is this?"
He put his phone in my face with a blocked number on it. I read it and instantly knew who's it was.
I guess my eyes got huge or something, because, Shawn asked me," Do you know who it is?"
"Yes, what did they say?" I asked.
He showed me the text.
"Okay, who is it?" Shawn asked.
"It's...it's...it's Matt." I mumbled.
"Are you two dating again?" he asked me.
I didn't answer, I was too shocked.
Shawn's POV
I started to feel hurt. Why would she get back together with Matt? He did horrible things to her, and she just forgot about it? Doesn't Brianna know that Matt fucking CHEATED ON HER WITH TWO OTHER GIRLS?!?! Of course she doesn't give a shit about that, because, he's just so sweet, and he didn't mean to.
"Shawn, it's not what you think. I-"
I cut her off before she could finish," You...what? You thought that he didn't mean to cheat on you, you thought that... he is a different person now? Well, he's not, I can tell you that."
"Shawn, we're not together. He probably got your number from one of his friends. Don't worry about it. He's actually probably drunk. He's been drinking ever since I broke up with him," Brianna started to tear up.
"What is it, Brianna?" I asked.
"It's just, I can't believe he would say such a thing. And that you would think that we are back together after what he did to me. I would never do that to you." she said.
"I'm sorry, I... I just don't want him to break your heart again. You deserve much more than him. He is just a stupid drunk who thinks he still loves you. I guess I'm just protective over you," I said.
