Ch. 8

Shawn's POV

"Brianna! Why are you laughing?! Get over here and help me!" I yelled.

"Guys, stop. I'm about to cry." I heard Brianna say.

The people got off of me and walked away. I still didn't see their faces.

I whipped around and said,"What the heck was that!?"

Then I saw Nash and Cameron with red faces, laughing and rolling on the floor.

I looked over at Brianna and she said,"Oh, calm down Shawn. They just were having fun. Stop freaking out. I'm sorry."

She was making the 'sad puppy dog' face. That was my weakness.

"Oh, alright," I said.

"Yay!" Brianna said and gave me a hug.

"But seriously, could you get Monopoly down from the shelf?" She asked.

"Fine, but there better not be anything to scare me up there." I said pointing to Nash and Cameron.

Nash put both of his hands up and said,"There is nothing."

I got Monopoly down and helped Brianna set it up. Nash and Cameron were just on their phones, I'm pretty sure they were texting each other, making a plan to do something.Typical.

Brianna's POV

Nash and Cameron's prank on Shawn wasn't the only they had in store.

They were going to smack cam Shawn.

A really,you know out if date prank, but they loved doing it.

So, in the middle of the Monopoly game, which btw I was winning, Cam went to the bathroom.

I told him that I didn't want him wasting our soap, so I put a can of whipped cream under the sink.
Cam came out of the bathroom at a perfect time, because, Shawn was buying new property and didn't even notice Cam come out of the bathroom.

Cameron had one hand behind his back and was grinning.

Shawn's POV

I heard Cameron come out of the bathroom, and I saw Nash turn red, like he was holding in laughter.

The next thing I knew, I was getting smacked in the side of my face with a hand full of whipped cream.

Brianna's POV

I was laughing so hard I was crying and choking on air. It was hilarious seeing Shawn getting 'Smack Cammed.'

What made it even better was I got it on video so we could rewatch it whenever we wanted.

"GUYS! NOT FUNNY!" Shawn yelled.

"Jeez, calm down, Shawn. It was just a prank." Nash said.

"Ya c'mon let's keep playing," Cameron said.

"Hold on, I need to CLEAN UP MY FACE FIRST," Shawn said back to them.

After Shawn was done cleaning his face, we kept on playing and I eventually ended up winning.

Then, we longboarded to Starbucks, then to the park.

When we got to the park, Cameron and Nash left, because they were going to hit on some girls they saw.

So, Shawn and I walked around.

"So, did you tell them?" Shawn asked me.

"Tell them what?" I asked.

"About us," Shawn answered.

"Oh, no, but I think they've figured it out already. Because. they aren't, you know, being all..."

"Being all flirty anymore?" Shawn said cutting me off.

"Yeah. Like there's a different way they are talking to me now, like they know I'm dating somebody," I said, stuttering on the words, "dating somebody."

Shawn just smiled and looked down at the ground, then his phone buzzed.

We were holding hands, so he let go of my hand and looked at his text and smiled.

"It's my mom, in case you were wondering," he said to me, showing me his phone, covering the text.

"I wasn't, but okay," I said to him.

"Sorry, it just that that's what most girls do, and I thought... nevermind," Shawn said.

"No, it's fine. It's what all girls do. Except me," I said.

We walked for a longer time and Nash and Cameron left without us, so we went to my house.

We watched television in my room and Shawn and I fell asleep.
