Ch. 27

Shawn's POV

I woke up the next morning in the hospital room that Bri was staying in.

My nose was stuffy because, I fell asleep crying.

Why would she do this to herself?

I felt so bad.

I put my face in my hands and calmed down.

After about a few minutes, the doctor walked in and told me to leave.

So, I obeyed and left.

Bri's POV

Darkness.

Then a strip of light.

Then talking.

Then beeps and heavy breathing.

Then darkness.

Then light again.

Then, talking.

"...and if you want to keep her safe, I recommend keeping her home for a few days and letting her rest, but do not take your eyes off of her, this could happen again and I don't think that you want it to."

A gasp.

"She's awake! She's awake! Bri is awake!" a female voice shouts.

Then I see two men and one woman looking over at me.

They all hug me.

I know that they look familiar, but I don't quite know who they are yet.

Then, the door directly in front of me opens, and a handsome young man walks in and his face lights up.

I sit up, and that's when all of the memories and names and information hits me.

Then, without noticing, my arms open wide, and tears fall from my eyes.

Then, I whisper his name.

"Shawn."
