Shawn's POV

Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice message pl-

I've tried calling Bri so many times that I've lost count. It's been two weeks since I got her out of that hospital and she has been ignoring me the whole time. She says that she's been with family, but I'm starting to not believe her.

Currently I'm laying down in my bed on my back and staring at the ceiling.

I slowly roll off the bed and walk over to the bathroom and lean down with my hands on the sides of the sink. I look down at the sink and think about what she could be doing without me. She could be hurting again, she could be cheating on me, she could be dead for all I know.

That's it, I'm going to her house.

Bri's POV

"Jack, stop," I said, giggling.

"What? You like it don't you?" Jack asked, smiling a toothy smile.

Jack was tickling my stomach and I was laying down with my back on the bed and Jack was leaning over me.

I have been hanging out with him for two weeks now and I have started to like him a lot more.

I smiled a toothy smile.

"You're crazy," I said, giggling.

"You're the one who fell for someone who held a gun to your head," Jack said.

"Yeah, but your life was threatened and if you didn't do what Matthew said, then you would be dead," I said, seriously.

"I guess you're right," Jack said, laying down next to me on his back.

He put his arm around me and I pulled my body closer to him and buried my head in his chest.

We stayed like that for a long time until I heard the doorbell ring.

"Bri, it's Shawn!" my mother yelled from downstairs.

I quickly sat up and turned to Jack.

"Oh God, Jack, Shawn's here, he thinks that you're in jail, go hide in my closet or something," I said, whispering, and shooing him off with my hand gestures.

"Fine, fine, okay, but I'm not staying in there for longer than an hour," Jack said, standing up and walking into the closet, frowning.

I hurried up and took off Jack's sweatshirt, which I was currently wearing and sprayed some perfume so I wouldn't smell like him.

Then, I sprinted down the stairs and stood at the door.

"Oh, hey, Shawn," I said.

Shawn's POV

I hopped into my car and drove off to Bri's house. I didn't want her to see my car out the window and think that I'm a creepy stalker, so I parked it at the playground down the street. Then, I turned the car off, and hopped out and started walking down the street.

As I started nearing Bri's house, I went into her front yard through her neighbors bushes, because, yes, I was spying on her.

I ran up to the side of her house and ducked under the windows, and once I got to the tree that is right in front of her window, I climbed up it, but only halfway up, so I could see in her room, just barely.

And there she was, but she was with somebody else who was leaning over her and had his hand on her stomach. Jack.

I kept watching them until Jack laid down next to her side, then I climbed down the tree and walked up to her front door and rang the doorbell.

When the door opened, her mother greeted me and yelled for Bri. A minute later, she came running down the stairs and walked up to the door.

"Oh, hey, Shawn."
