Ch. 7

Shawn's POV

"But Mom! Dad said that we could and IT WAS SO CUTE!" I said to my mom.

I had already asked my dad if we could get the koala and he said he didn't care. Obviously. He doesn't really care what I do.

"No. I already said it, no. You can beg me but, I will not let you have a pet koala. They can be dangerous, you know. And it will cost a lot to take care of. Shawn, the only way you will be able to get me to say yes, is to show me that you can take care of it." Mom said to me.

"Fine, I'll show you that I can take care of a koala. I'll, I'll, umm..."

My mom pitched in and said,"Here's what you can do, you can clean the bathroom, the pool, and the cars. You can also do your laundry and clean your room. Then I'll at least consider saying yes."

"For how long?" I asked her.

"Till Wednesday." She answered.

Today was Sunday, so it shouldn't be that bad.

"Okay," I said and kissed her on the cheek,"I got to go, love you. Oh, and what you said starts tomorrow. Love you bye!"

Brianna's POV

Shawn, Cam, and Nash were coming over to play Monopoly.

Then we were going to go to Starbucks and then the park.

When Shawn got here he had the biggest, goofiest smile I have ever seen.

"What?" I asked, looking at him funny.

"Oh, nothing. You'll find out soon," he answered.

"Fine. Will you help me get Monopoly off of the top shelf for me?" I asked him, pointing to the closet.

He walked over to the closet, and opened it.

Shawn's POV

I walked over to the closet and opened it looking at Brianna making the 'I'm scared' face.

I opened the door still looking at Brianna. When I turned around to get Monopoly, I shouted really loudly.

The person in the closet jumped out at me and was shouting.

Then, somebody jumped on my back, both shouting.

I was yelling and swatting at them, but I couldn't see because, the person on my back was covering my eyes.

Then, I heard laughing.
