Chanize POV

"Dwayne," my lips parted, staring at him... "I mean..." I looked away,

"Young Don,"

"Swear think me did tell you deh night deh... me name Dwayne... Young Don is off-limits fi you,"

"A when you come from foreign?" I changed the topic,

"Recently," He licked his lips as he spoke,

"How recent?" I challenged him,

"Today... me just land,"

"Oh," I smiled, looking away,

"You stop dress like a man," Dwayne chuckled, circling around me, something about his hot breath on the back of my neck sent chills up my spine,

"Batty cock up...." He stood behind me, "Look like you man a gi you a whole heap a backazz,"

Swallowing at his comment I didn't know if I should be offended, but it made me blush inwardly. I remember losing my virginity while going to Pre-UWI, it was by another student, Shane, how could I forget him. We only dated for the two years of school, but eventually ended it because he felt I wasn't in his league anymore, since when he could afford to go to University and I couldn't. I decided that I wouldn't date after that day, men are just ticking disappoints, ready to go off.

Can't say I don't miss the sex.

"Actually," I bit the inside of my cheeks, "I don't have a boyfriend,"

"Eeeh," He came around to face me, with raised his eyebrows,

"Ya try fi say nobody na pan the lane na feature you?"

"Me no deh with area man... plus no man no deh a March Pen... bay little boys,"

"Good thing a real man just drop back in the place," Dwayne wiped the sweat from the sides of his nose,

"And who tell you seh me want you, me just explain to me seh me no want no area man,"

"But me a no area man... Me adi Don fi the area," he licked his lips, "So tell me something... how you satisfy yourself? Fingers cant do damage enuh," He inquired,

He was curious about my sex life

"You wa feel something tough in a you belly man," he chuckled,

"Been alone for almost two years, so what make you feel like I need someone?"

"Never seh you want nobody... God knows me no want that either, me seh u wah something tough," he laughed a little too loud,

"Oh," I mumbled, feeling a bit sad by his confession,

Him no wah nobody... not even me.

"Chanize..."

"Oh, so you remember me name," I smirked cutting him off, watching him fight back the smile,

"Me ago be you man enuh, Just wait and see hear?"

"And honestly me rather nyam two hot pepper, but you will never be the one fi me... man a wicked," I muttered remembering Shane,

"Look like a little G break and bruck you heart, You too nice fi that still... say the word and me page him,"

"Hmm?" I chuckled, this kind of statement should frighten me but I wasn't, instead, I was intrigued by it. Fascinated how he wanted to avenge me,

"That no necessary mon... me no need you to fight my battles. Me honestly just no want nobody,"

"So you say ino, Chanize... so you say," he laughed, looking over my shoulders,

Turning around to see what caught his attention, I realized he was looking back at the car,

"Your own?"

"Yeah, you want a drive?"

"Me can't drive," I laughed,

"That ago change soon man... Anyway, me a fi shub out ya now enuh, me no know if you wan forward with me pan the ends," he was closer now than before, ogling down on my lips.

"Sorry, me have a few things fi take of back home, maybe next time," I lied, I didn't have anything at home to do, I just didn't want him thinking I am easy, 'Forward with him pan the ends' can mean a lot of things and I am not going with him to find out which version he wants to act out on,

"Me no believe you enuh pretty girl, But me ago teck you word fi it," He walked off, then paused in his tracks, patting on his pockets,

"Bloodclaat," he hissed, turning around to face me, "Me just a realize she me left me phone up a the house, beg you a small call,"

At first, I was hesitant, Young Don making a 'small call' from my phone can put both me and my family in danger, but at the same time I wanted to help, in whatever way I could, I am sure that he will be careful,

"If a you gal them you ago call..." I handed it to him, "Mek sure you call them pan private number,"

"Nothing like that mon, A me mother me a shout," he took the phone from my grip, Glancing up at me every now, before bringing it to his ear,

"She na answer enuh," he handed it back to me, "Probably deh dung stairs,"

"Downstairs?" I stared at him, I don't remember their house like that

"Yeah... when last you go pan the lane,"

"Good while," my gaze lowered at his feet, knowing that for me 'good while' meant years, I have to walk past the street every evening but Keisha lives right beside, So I avoid it at all cost, Sad thing about it is... the football field is around there,

"Look like me afi go find the man wei change all you," he laughed,

"Dwayne..." I warned,

"No worries, me just wah shake the G hand you know... Not even ball you no play again, Cocky do that enuh"

"It no have nothing fi do with that... me still love football,"

He smiled, hanging his head low.

"Alright, We will link... hear that?"

"Sure," I smiled, watching him walk away. Slipping into the driver's seat, the window rolled down. Dwayne winked at me as he held an iPhone to his ear... wait, I stare down at my phone,

He lied... But why.

Shaking, I have decided not to be pressed about the matter, I continued walking towards my home,

"Swear think you last to..." Biggz took a quick glance at our who was glaring at him, waiting on him to curse so she could lengthen her walking stick across his head

"... to planka," he chuckled,

"A tell you uno no have no blood cleanse respect in this yard ya enuh," my Grandmother hissed, "What happened me child... I was getting so worried about?" she pulled me into a hug,

"Me alright Mama... uno did know she Young Don come back?"

"Come back?" Biggz took the small joint from the corner of his mouth, "Come back a Pen?"

"Yea, me see him with me own two eye, up a Ms. Witter shop, Mark X him a drive now... " I climbed the mini-steps of the veranda,

"Eeeh?" my grandmother narrowed her eyes into tiny slits, "Police kill mek after them rass, and who no run wei... dead... so wei him come back ya fah?"

"Me no know," I swallowed hard twisting the cork of the pepsi bottle,

"Him no seh nothing to you though?" My grandmother glared up at me, her piercing eyes forced me to take a sip,

Why was I nervous?

"No enuh," I lied, looking across at Biggz who was searching my emotions with his detective's eyes,

"Not a thing," I continued.

"Good..." she mumbled, "That damn boy is nothing but bad news, stay far from him... you hear me?" she warned,

"Yes, Mama."
