Securing the strings at the side of the orange bath suit I didn't get to wear on my vacation, I also watch Shakeem as he struggled with decided what shorts he wanted to wear,

"The pink on nice," I spoke,

"Weh you say?" He looked at me.

"Me say the pink one nice,"

He stared at it.

"Alright,"

And ofcourse he didn't wear it.

Shakeem was at the bottom of the mini steps wait for me, I stood on the front porch adoring the scenery.

Reaching for my hand, he guided me down the steps,

Throwing his hand neck, he kissed me on the top of a the head, as we walked towards the dirt track,

"This well nice... Nah lie," I glimpse over my shoulders,

"Something like that..."

I smirked.

My stomach churned, wishing that I ate more of the appetizing breakfast Ms Norma made,

Toasted bread, avocado spread, eggs, beacon.... You know, a prefect breakfast combo.

Staring up at the trees, I took a deep breath, listening to the chirping songs of the birds.

"Me can't swim," I broke the silence.

"Eeh... And you live near a canal... Well use to,"

I smiled.

"Ano everybody baan fi swim,"

"Well... You ago learn today,"

I chuckled.

But he didn't.

After a few minutes, we could hear the gushing of water, beating against rocks... We were were close.

Finally, a low water fall poured from from a large rock, descending into streaming river was before us, the water so clear I could see the colorful pebbles beneath it,

"This is——"

"Me know..." Shakeem cut me off,
"It always stun me... No matter how much time me come here,"

I smiled.

"You wah go up deh so?" Shakeem pointed on the rock, from the which the mini water fall overlapped.

I was a bit hesitant

"Yeah..." I nodded.

"Who last reach a batty man," Shakeem sprinted off.

"Thief!" I dashed behind him, giggling like a school girl.

With the unfair head start, Shakeem won.
