Chanize POV

"Hello," I bit my fingertips nervously.

Leaning against the kitchen counter, my heart beat hammered from beneath my chest.

Why do I feel nervous.

I shouldn't, it's just a regular man... Chanize.

He is no superhuman.

The line was obviously opened, but no one answered, even though I heard shuffling in the background.

"Dwayne," I said impatiently, pouting my lips, a bit.

A wah this... Ano your man again eno miss.

"Yeah," he cleared his throat a few times,
"Weh ya say?"

Weh me a say?

Weh the fuck deh man ya mean?
No must s reason me call.

"I have to tell you, but firstly... Don't you think we need to talk,"

"Talk bou my girl?" He retaliated, he seemed a bit annoyed.

Was I annoying him?

"I have something to tell you about Marvin,"

Silence

But I could hear his heavy breathing,

I wish I could feel his hot breath as the back of my neck, or between my legs.

"Hello?" I spoke,

A credit me a use... Not a landline.

"Wull on," I could hear his light footsteps in the almost quiet back ground.

But I was listening for something else or someone.

I listened as the glass at the balcony slid open , then shut.

"Weh you gwan now?"

"Well," I twirled my hair around my fingers.

"What happened lastnight..."

"Was a mistake," he cut me off, "and don't affi medz it... Won't make it happen again, You can do you thing man,"

My chest burned.

I was bit relief that nothing that crazy will ever take place again,

But...

This felt like us official breaking up.

And that's not what I wanted.

"Dwayne I——" I paused,

I couldn't bring my self to tell him, that I missed him,

And I wanted to come home.

No.

If this is what it's suppose to be, it will just be.

"Wah you say happen with deh likkle batty boy deh now,"

I sighed.

Its best him hear him from me.

"I saw him the other day... When we—— when give me the invite,"

"Hmm..."

Hmm? That's all you have to say.

Remembering vividly when you wanted to shoot Marvin because he kissed me— or I kissed him.

"And me see him today again,"

"And?" He got irritated.

Me fi just hang up my bloodclaat phone.

"Him a police," I managed to blurt out.
