I laughed nervously, closing the bedroom door behind me.

I couldn't let him even glimpse my eye massager.

We were now standing close... Too close.

His stares held me in place, I couldn't move.

"No man... A something me come check on,"

"Yeah, never better," I slid pass him, breaking from his invisible grip.

"Ya come?" I walked back to where we sat.

He joined me shortly after.

"So tell a little bit about your self," he sat next to me

"Well it depends on what you want to know," I swallowed.

"Well... We can start with you relationship status,"

"Single... My ex is a mad man," I laughed.

"Mad man?" Shakeem asked, "Weh you mean by that?" His toned changed, he was a bit more inquisitive.

"Him just no behave right ya man..." I sighed, "But long story short... Am single,"

"What about you?"

"Wa bout me?"

I tried to study his plain reaction.

"You have summady?"

He only smiled, with a soft chuckled.

I was feeling upset by this.

"I am not in a committed relationship if that's what you are asking, not yet at least,"

He finally responded.

I said nothing.

He thought I was nice.

I giggled, shyly looking away

"You have any kids?"

"Well, I lost a baby so... In a way,"

"Oh Zeen, sorry fi hear bou that princess. Guessing the same mad man is you baby father?"

"Something like that yes," the conversation made me feel uncomfortable, and he noticed it.

"I am going to get a glass of water... U want some?" I stood once more.

It was getting late, and my eyes burnt from sleep.

But I wanted to get my back blown out, ain't going to lie.

"If me want some?" His chuckle was deep,

"Is that obvious baby girl?"
