Chanize POV

"Weh you seh?" Ashley lapped the cushion between her legs, enticed with the carelessness from lastnight,

"You no hear? Me say Shemar baby mother draw chair and hold seat," I shook my head,

"A good thing me is a gal weh loud mouth and chattings no shake,"

"And Dwayne sit down a watch this?"

"Hmm," I nodded, "Everybody did a watch... All him white gal,"

"Me nah lie friend..."Ashley laughed, "Look like you born a seaside,"

I rolled my eyes at this.

We both were at my house. Aston was with Dwayne's mom and I am bit surprised he agreed on watching him... Well not really, she knows it's a big day for her son and he needs all the help he can get,

"So wa the dress code for later?"

"You still a go?" She glanced at me,

Why wouldn't I?

"Ofcourse, fix my crown and step like the bad bitch I am,"

"Right deh so friend,"

But seriously... Wah me ago wear? I thought

I had a dress in mind, but it was too simple... I wanted something that screamed

That's the ex he will never get over... Even if he tried.

"You know if them a cook?"

"Mhmm mhmm, but me can find out..."

"No there is no need," I cut her off, next thing you go hear how me a falla up Dwayne, and Ashley man love blow things out a proportion.

"Me will just order something... Weh you wah fi..."

"Chan Chan..." A familiar voice called at my gate, butterflies swarmed at the pits of my stomach

Shakeem.

"A who that?" Ashley whispered

"Just a friend... Me a forward!" I quickly stood, looking over my shoulders inspecting how badly my ass hang from my booty shorts ,

"This too revealing?" I glanced at Ashley, who fold her arms, wiggling her body to comfort in the settee,

"Just a friend," she raised her eye brows,

I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, It's the same guy Rose spotted me with uptown,"

"Eeeh?" She was not pleased.

I shoved both feet in my leather sandals.

"As a best friend..." She continued,  "I don't know your favorite color"

I paused as i reached for the doorknob

What a bitch random.

"White..." I responded a bit hesitantly, "Why?"

"Just wah know the color fi wear a you funeral,"

I rolled my eyes with a sigh before dashing outside, my smile brighten when I saw him relaxed on the bicycle,

"How you take so long man?" His voice stood bold but muffled through the hand kerchief around his mouth,

My belly tighten with some form of guilt as  he looked back at the house with knitted eyebrows,

Buzz?

"Sorry," I cleared my throat as I approached my gate, "my friend..."

"Friend?" He glanced back at me, I could tell he got uneasy.... uncomfortable strange.
