Cinderella The Musical Part 4

Gina's POV

The next morning we all fairly slept in but I was the first one up. I decided that I wanted make Ej and Ashlyn breakfast. I cooked eggs , scrambled for me and Ash, Ej likes his egg whites, I toasted some bread and, air fried some bacon and had sliced avocados for myself and EJ. I made Ash's latte the way she likes it.

"Morning Roomie....smells good in here" Ash came in the kitchen tired

"Oh good you're up, Morning Ash, I made you breakfast and I made your favorite latte" I said

"Thanks Gi, you're such a sweetie pie, what would I do without you.......mmmm.....*takes sip of latte*.....mm Gi this is amazing." Ash

"Are you going to keep me or are you going to keep me?" I said jokingly. I was so happy she liked it. It was my first attempt to make her latte. At home I like to do special things for Ash just because one I'm grateful to be staying with her and two I always want to show her extra love even if Ej is here because I never want to be that girl who ignores her friends just because she's in a relationship. I hate to be that girl.

"It smells good in here....morning" Ej said while walking into the kitchen.  He still looks tired

"Morning" Ashlyn said to Ej while she started to eat

"Morning Babe" I said as he came over to me to hug me and a quick peck.

"How did you sleep last night ?" I asked finished making his plate and I handed it to him. I went to the fridge to get the orange juice.  "Orange juice?" I asked him really quickly

"Yes please, thanks babe. I slept like a baby. It felt good to sleep in a little bit" Ej said as I fixed him and myself orange juice. Once I was done I was able to join them at the island to sit and eat.

"This looks so good" Ej said while getting ready to take his first bite.

"Thanks babe. So Ash what's the plan for the day?" I asked her

"Well Ricky asked me if I can help him with this song he's  writing. So I'll be writing with him in a bit and then I have a hot date later....what about you love birds?" Ashlyn asked

I honestly didn't think this through. I really hope he just wants to stay in.

"We have to make a quick target run but after that we are going to be just in the house." Ej spoke for us

"Oh thank God, I really didn't plan anything" I said

"After this you want to make that target run?" He asked me

"Sure...do you need anything while I'm there Ash" I asked Ashlyn

"No I'm good." Ash answered
We all finished eating and Ash did the dishes while Ej and I got ready to go to target.

While in the car my mom FaceTimed me. I was debating on whether or not I should answer it.

"Gi your mother is calling you answer it" Ej urged

I didn't make up my mind in time so I ended up missing the call.

"Why didn't you answer it? What's wrong?" Ej asked me

"Nothing is wrong, I don't know why I even paused like that. I'm going to call her back right now" I said and FaceTimed her back.

"Gina, Hello? Can you see me?" My mom asked

"Hey mom, yes I can see and hear you, sorry I missed your call, I didn't feel my phone vibrating, it's on silent " I lied

"I'm checking in on you, have you heard from Ej yet? Did y'all get to talk yet?" She asked, she knows I was feeling insecure about my relationship. She's been helping me get through it. I don't tell her everything. But I always come to her for help.
