WARNINGS: Yandere themes, mild self-injury, jealousy, kidnapping, Kita's kind of insecure in this

Summary: The school nurse-in-training is often charged with caring for the Inarizaki sports teams, usually the volleyball team. It's obvious the whole team adores her, but not in the same way their captain does. And Kita is sick of his team stealing the spotlight when they don't even love her the way he does.

It was painfully clear to Kita Shinsuke that the Inarizaki team adored you.

Omimi wasn't hard to get along with, but he didn't express a lot of emotions most of the time (not unlike the majority of the Inarizaki team members). So when he was seen laughing with you after you treated a particularly bad nosebleed, Kita had a feeling his teammates wouldn't be far behind Omimi in their fondness for you.

He was even more right than he'd surmised.

The Miya twins were always quick to latch onto people, albeit in very different ways. Atsumu was all over you from the get-go, trying to get your number, asking you on a date, flirting nonstop. Osamu was calmer and quieter than his excitable twin, but he shared the same DNA and couldn't help but offer a few date ideas to you as well.

You were nothing but kind to them, of course, but you also made it clear that you were trying to do your job and, as an adult, you had no interest in the second and first years. You never specifically said you had no interest in the third years, Kita noted.

How was it so effortless for you to lift the spirits of each Inarizaki volleyball club member? You never failed to break up a fight between the twins or make a thin smile spread across Suna's lips, and it seemed so effortless and natural and...

At first, Kita thought he was fond of you because you helped care for his team. It was as if he was the fatherly figure of the team, and you were the extremely kind nanny that came in and tended to the children. But he couldn't help but feel a pang in his heart every time you were treating a different person's injuries.

Although it was out of character for him, Kita considered the possibility that he may be jealous of your ability to make his team so happy and organized. Maybe he, as the captain of the team, wanted to be the best at that job?

No. No, that wasn't it.

It didn't take long for him to realize just what it was that was bothering him.

The collision wasn't all that bad and Kita would have been perfectly fine if the coach had told him to just walk it off. But the coach insisted on sending him to the assistant nurse to get his arm checked out. There was no point insisting on his health, Kita wasn't one to argue with his elders, so he calmly walked off to the nurse's office.

The elderly, stern-looking head nurse took one glance before shortly inquiring, "Sports-related injury?"

When Kita nodded, the older woman tilted her head back and called your name. Moments later, you skipped around the corner, smoothing the wrinkles out of your nurse uniform as you walked towards the volleyball captain.
