Amy's POV:
I frowned, "What do you want, Sir Albion?"
He was smiling as usual, but the only thing that made me look at him in a whole different light is because of his now menacing gaze. He then chuckled, "I was just dropping by to say congrats to you. No need to be so uptight, I'm not gonna do something that makes you uncomfortable." I then saw his eyes land on my neck, making me suddenly remember that night before, when he revealed that he has an interest in my grandmother's ring. Well at least, it isn't me that he's interested in. Ugh, that would be worse. I then forced a smile as I covered my necklace using my hand, "I see, thank you Sir Albion. You can leave now". I said, already waving goodbye to him. But of course, I forgot that he's a persistent type. And as I've expected, he ignored me and just continued drinking his wine as he 'talked' to me. "Say, this wine tastes delicious! Where did you buy it? Is it from Gallo Wine? Or Delude Wine?" Sir Albion asked with a big smile as he examined the wine. Of course, I just ignored him.
He then continued asking me more questions, but I still held my ground and continued to ignore him. But as he kept on talking, I've realized that some people kept on looking our way and glaring at Sir Albion. Weird. Weren't those people the ones who were talking to him earlier? So why are they acting like that to him now?
"...."
"I also came to apologize for my actions." Sir Albion said with a sad expression.
I frowned, what a joke. Although I'm not interested in hearing his apology, I was still curious enough to look at him and wait for his 'apology' for me.
"..."
"I know that I was acting all creepy and making you uncomfortable during the whole trip, but I have no excuses nor any reasons to give to you. All I want is to apologize to you. So please don't be wary of me anymore, since I'm not gonna approach you anymore just because you have the ring that I want." He mumbled, while also using his hands to explain. I took a good look at him, and he seems sincere. But that feeling of doubt is still there since one can easily apologize but not take accountability for his or her actions. "I know that you're not gonna forgive me, so that's why I won't bother to ask for your forgiveness. So please, don't be so uptight when you see me. After this, I'll finally leave you alone for good." Sir Albion apologized, his ears drooped as he bowed to me. Seeing Sir Albion bow to me might be satisfying, but I later found out that there were also others enjoying his state more than me. I sneaked a glance at the people around us and saw that they were secretly smirking and snickering at Sir Albion as he bowed to me. I narrowed my eyes and looked at him again, "That's good to know," I said, as I gave the wine glass back to a banquet waiter. Sir Albion then stood up with a smile, blurting out a 'thanks' after.
"..."
"But why does it seem like they're sneering at you?" I asked him. As our eyes met, he immediately looked away before he quickly shook his head. He then sighed, "It's okay, most people just find my presence disgusting sometimes. So you don't need to concern yourself anymore with this kind of matter." I then furrowed my brows, since when did I say I care about him? But that isn't important right now, the important thing right now is to find out why they suddenly changed their attitude to him when the 'Mexuis' family isn't with him. "They find your presence disgusting? Why?" I asked, doubting him. But he just remained quiet and smiled, but the only thing that surprised me was that his hands kept shaking as he was looking around to try to avoid my gaze. "Are you okay--?"
"OW!"
A girl who's carrying a wine glass suddenly bumped into Sir Albion, completely spilling the wine on his suit. I looked at the scene in horror since his entire bottom was completely soaked in wine, it made him look like he just killed somebody because of the redness of the wine that was spilled on his light-colored suit. "I'm so sorry! I'll pay for the suit, so please just send the bill to me so that--!" The girl cried, grabbing a random tissue from her purse as she 'tried' to wipe his lower half. But Sir Albion avoided her touch and bowed to us before he smiled, "It's okay, you don't have to. Excuse me." His butler that I recognized, ran up to him with a large towel to cover him up before they left the venue. The other people were looking at us, completely surprised and curious as to what had happened. The girl then started sobbing as she mumbled, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! Ugh, I made a fool of myself again! I shouldn't have come to this party and just stayed at home instead!"
