Chapter 23 | 'Honesty'

I wasn't supposed to update today, but since Wattpad is gonna have to do a maintenance for 2 hours tomorrow then I'll just update today lol. The time that they'll shut down Wattpad is exactly the time I would mostly update XD

Sonic's POV:

"Are you done yet?" I asked, waiting outside the bathroom of my hospital room. "Almost there! I just need to adjust your clothes and... DONE!" I heard Sally exclaimed before I heard the door open. She then gave me the bag of clothes and pushed me inside the bathroom, making me yelp in surprise. I looked inside the bag to see a casual outfit; white polo and black jeans, white shoes, and a silver necklace, silver piercings, and a silver ring. "What the heck am I going to do with this ring?" I asked.

"Your ring is too eye-catching and it's a familiar ring that would most probably help your mom find you easier," Sally said. Oh right, almost forgot about that. I quickly got changed from my hospital robes and to the outfit. It wasn't a normal outfit that I would probably wear outside normally; it was way too... much. I fixed my clothes and checked myself in the mirror, I looked like I belong to an idol group because of the accessories.

"And what about my appearance?" I asked. Sally opened the door and gave me hair dye, I looked at it and realized it was blonde hair dye. "The fuck, you think I'll look good as a blonde?" I laughed, reading the instructions. "No choice, but I think you'll look okay. Lol." Sally giggled before she closed the door again. I sighed and got ready to dye myself blonde, definitely not a wise decision, but at least it's only temporary. A few minutes later, I finally dyed myself completely blonde, head to toe, and stepped out of the bathroom.

"You're going to buy yourself a new phone after this— ". Sally said before she turned around and looked at me with surprised eyes. "Hmmm... it doesn't actually look bad," Sally said, walking around me as she checked me out. "Stop it, you're annoying." I chuckled, as I took the black jacket she gave me and put it on. "You look like a famous idol, well definitely not idol material." Sally joked which made me roll my eyes at her. "Whatever, let's get going. Being in a hospital makes me nauseous. I hate it here," I said, as I opened the door. Sally nodded and walked beside me as we quickly went to the elevator, once we got there, there were two girls of the same age as us.

We waited for the elevator to go up at our floor, and while we were waiting, I realized that they were actually looking at us. "Excuse me, you look like a K pop idol I know of. Can I take a picture of you?" One girl asked as she took out her phone. I was about to answer but Sally answered for me instead, "Hello! Sorry but we're in a rush!" Sally told them before she pulled me inside the elevator and quickly closed it. "That was close, if she did take a picture of me, a lot of people would recognize me quicker. Especially my mom." I sighed.

 "It was nice for me to speak up for you since you would always say yes especially for photos." Sally sighed. I chuckled, "I was about to say no, but she was a cutie so maybe I would." Sally rolled her eyes, "Even though you're being chased after by your mom, you're still here willing to flirt inside a hospital." I nudged her arm and laughed, "Well it's what they said, try to enjoy the downsides of living." Sally slapped my arm making me wince in pain as we got out of the elevator and went out of the hospital.

"So where shall we go first?" Sally asked as she took out her phone. I looked around for a moment and saw the ATM machine beside a bank and pointed at it, "I'll get some cash first before we go get some things, I can't risk them finding out my identity when they'll see my card." I said. Sally nodded and we then went to the machine, I then fill out my password and identifications before I cashed out $$$ from my account. "Somehow, she still didn't freeze my account yet," I muttered before I hid my cash inside my pocket.
