*Vroom!*
I was now passing by at the bridge, where you could clearly see the beautiful blue ocean. It was a sunny day, and the winds were also strong which made it ten times better. Saltwater air, the hot sun, me driving on my own. What a day. But I then remembered that I promised to fetch Amy, I groaned and drove to their subdivision.
As I drove there, I felt my watch suddenly beep. I checked to see who it was and saw %$&#'s message. Luckily, there was a stop sign and I quickly stepped the break and checked the message.
%$&#: Sir, I have been notified of suspicious activity near you yesterday. Miss V has seen a black van parked near the school, it has tinted windows and a fast-food logo plastered on it.
I raised my brow in confusion, a black van? That's new. I called %$&# quickly, surprised by the report. "Hello, Sir?" %$&# answered. "Hey, what's with the van? And what has it to do with our plan?" I asked, confused. "Sorry sir, but the reason why Miss V has reported it suspicious is that after you and your other friend left... they began to follow the pink hedgehog." %$&# said.
My eyes widened, "Excuse me? What?!" %$&# then turned on the computer hologram she had installed in my watch, there, it displayed pictures of the reported van and Miss V's photo of Amy being followed. "It seems to me they're after your friend, Sir. But luckily she stopped in front of an Ice cream shop and went inside before the van could really get close to her." %$&# said.
"Good thing she's that naive to go there and if she didn't, who knows what will happen to her." I sighed. "%$&#, please inform Miss V to keep following Amy. Just in case those guys follow her again, please inform her to protect her as best as she can before I can get there when something bad happens." I said, %$&# nodded and turned the hologram off.
"Will do Sir." %$&# said before I turned the call off.
The stoplight once again turned green, and I quickly drove there. Afraid that she'll wander off again and the van would follow her again. I entered the subdivision, and a guard stopped me and asked me for my ID. I rolled down my windows and gave it to him, and his eyes widened as he looked at me and the card. "We-well hello there Sir 'Mexuis'!" The guard greeted.
I smiled and politely said, "Hello, I'm in quite a rush so please open the gate." The guard nodded and returned my card before he opened the gate, I then sped off to find her house. Minutes later of following directions, I finally found it and parked my Lambo in front of their house. I went out of my car, fixed my suit, and grabbed the box before I went up to the door to knock.
An old maid answered and she beamed when she saw me, "Hello, you must be Sir Sonic. Please make yourself at home." She said opening the door wide to let me in. I gave her a half-smile and walked inside the house. It was a mansion though, and it looks so pretty with all the flowers and plants placed in every inch of the house.
As I was looking around, I suddenly heard a dog barking. It was too late when I realized that it was running up to me and it pushed me down to the floor and licked my face. "Oh my gosh! Sorry, Sonic! Biscuit get off!" I heard Amy's voice shouted. I looked up to see a smiling golden retriever on top of me, "Oh, so your name's Biscuit. Hello there, Biscuit." I smiled as I sat up to pat the dog's head, Amy then went up to me and held out her hand for me to take.
As I took her hand, I mouthed the word thanks to her and dusted off the dirt on my suit, "He's cute." Amy sighed, "He is but it's hard for me to walk him without a harness, or else he'll drag me to who knows where." The dog sat down and looked up at me, wagging his tail and barking. I continued to pat his head, "I came here because I need you to come with me to an event, it's a tea party near the mountains."
