Chapter 30 | 'The Fight'

Sonic's POV:

"Are there any reports of students misbehaving?" I asked Sally, walking up to her. She was checking the papers on her checkboard, "Yep! A group of students was seen by Silver going out for a smoke at the back of the school." I sighed, "Knew it, well then let's get to it." Sally nodded and the two of us went to the area where students would be taking their extra classes. 

It's another hallway for three classrooms where the students would be taking their Physics, Math, and Foreign Language. The other student council members were already there, and Shadow is checking the attendance of the students. Even though I and Sally were still far away from them, I could clearly recognize Scourge laughing with the other students. I sighed, "And yeah, there would be no days where he doesn't want to cause chaos in the school." Sally giggled, "Same, that's why you should keep an eye on your cousin! He always causes a mess." 

I rolled my eyes, "I'm not gonna babysit Scourge, Sal. And besides, he can take care of himself." Sally sighed, "I know, it's just that maybe you'll teach him how to behave once in a while? That would be nice to do since he's your cousin." Sally and I stopped walking and faced each other, I sighed and put both of my hands inside my pockets. I could hear Scourge's laugh from all the way here, and of course, his friends also. "I'll try, but I can't even help recover my own trauma," I muttered.

Sally laughed, and I was confused since I didn't say anything funny to her. I was confused and so I asked, "Why the heck are you laughing?"

She stopped and gave me a big smile, "Didn't Amy said that she's gonna help you?" I was shocked, "Huh?? What? How did you--" Before I could ask any more questions, Sally immediately scurried away as she said. "It's a secret!"

I stood there in shock and thought, "How the heck did she know?" I shook my head and went to where Sally and the others are waiting, Sally gave me a smirk and I rolled my eyes at her as I took the attendance paper from Shadow. "Everyone seems to be here, except for Fiona," I announced, looking around for the red-haired fox. "She's absent today, Sonic." A female hedgehog said one of Scourge's friends.

"Oh really? But I saw her at the canteen earlier with you?" Tails replied, looking at the hedgehog with his brow raised. "Oh please, it must be another student." The hedgehog responded. I raised my hand for them to stop bickering and I cleared my throat before I said, "Okay, okay. So she really isn't absent today, where is she then?"

"What? But I just told all of you that she isn't here--!" She was then cut off by Scourge. He looked at me with a glare and walked up to me, his chest raised to make himself look scary. But I wasn't, the only person I'm afraid is my mom and myself.

"Sonic, you heard her, Fiona isn't here. Now please, just let us take our "classes" so that we're done here--"

"No," I responded.

"What did you say?" He growled.

"Unless your deaf, I'm willing to say it again. But I know you aren't, so I'm not gonna say it again." I said, glaring at him. He cackled, his friends were unsure of what to react and the rest of the student council were scared of him.

"HA! You really think your so smart to talk like that, huh? Well, what do we do now? You're just a perfect little prince, but I know you deep inside! Want me to tell everyone here about the most special day of your life?" Scourge snickered.

I glared at him, and I saw that Sally was about to say something but I stopped her. I don't want her to be included in Scourge's Dramarama. I sighed, "Well if that's really what you think..."

"....."

"Then we'll just have to call your parents--"
