Sonic's POV:
*RING!* *RING!*
"Ugh..." I groaned, reaching for my phone to turn the alarm off. I rubbed my eyes and sat up on my bed, still tired. I yawned and squinted my eyes since the bright sunlight hurt my eyes, I then heard someone knock on my door. "Sir? Are you awake?" A maid asked from outside the door. "Yes, I'll be outside after 20 minutes," I answered. I yawned again as I went inside my bathroom, still tired from doing a live last night. I just do it for fun, and because I felt like dressing up.
After I showered, I sat down and dried my quills. Quiet moments like this will always make me think deeply about how sad my life really is, but no one will know because I always covered myself with a mask. Just to hide the bitter truth by temporary happiness.
And this is my routine every day, a maid wakes me up instead of my parents. A maid will remind me that I should eat breakfast now. A butler will drive me to school and fetch me after. Everything that a parent does is replaced by the people who are hired to do that instead. I remember the time when I was still little, I always envied the kids who come to school with their parents, and before they'll go inside they always get a kiss good luck. And after school, their parents would always be there to greet them.
And my parents never do that. Because they're always busy with the family business and maintaining their social status. At such an early age, I realized that the life I lived was far more different from them. A life that's full of enviousness from the other kids who get to live a life that I want to live, a life that even though they lived simply, they're still surrounded by the warmth of their parents. I sighed and finished blowdrying my quills before I picked an outfit that I'm gonna be wearing today. I opened my enormous closet and began to choose. After I chose an outfit, I'll just speed past the maid with my sports outfits and go get breakfast.
*Knock!* *Knock!*
I was already done, and so I just grabbed my phone that was on my bed and opened my door. I was surprised to see Amy, instead of a maid. "What do you want?" I asked coldly before I began to walk away. "Hey!" She yelled, running after me. When she finally caught up to me, she then said, "My mom told me to assist you. I don't know why, but I hate it." I was skeptical since when do I need some assistance? I then took a quick glance at her. She was wearing a red jersey/sweater, paired with shorts and sneakers. "You look cute," I smirked, trying to embarrass her. She giggled, "I know, you don't need to remind me." I rolled my eyes and went ahead.
When I got there, the first thing I noticed was that my dad was already warming up on the other side of the tennis court. "Oh hey, Sonic! Just getting ready for our contest!" He greeted, obviously trying to flex his muscles. I snickered, "You do know, dad, that your son always won every contest he joined, right?" I went to the empty side and took the racket from the butler. "Yeah, yeah. I knew from the start that your cocky attitude came from me." My dad said as I saw him roll his eyes. I grinned, "Fine. Let's do this." I then stretched for a bit to warm up before my dad would hit the cone to me. While he was getting ready to hit the cone, I then noticed that there was a lot of purple goo on the floor.
I smiled and thought, "Wow, sabotaging me in the first round? Not bad"

"And... checkmate!" I yelled before I hit the cone back. My dad then stumbled before he can even reach the cone, and thus, I won the contest fair and square. I landed on the ground and wiped the sweat off of my face with a big grin. "Goodgame!" Amy's mother yelled from the bleachers. My dad then glared at her and me, "Next time. I will win the round, son." Before he walked back to the bleachers to rest.
I stretched my arms before I gave the racket back to the butler, I took a bottle of water and began to drink. "How did you even do that? You just beat your own dad in sports!" Amy exclaimed, her eyes gleamed. I finished drinking first before I closed the bottle again, "Heh. He's just getting older." I grinned, making sure my dad heard me. "What did you say?!" My dad yelled from the distance. I smirked, "Nothing." Amy and the others laughed before she went in front of me, looking excited. "You do know that your parents are very sweet you know? They even gave us some presents yesterday, they're very generous." Amy said with a smile, looking at my parents.
When I heard her say that, my face twisted and I immediately threw the bottle at her side. Amy yelped in fear, "The heck! What did you do that for?" I gave her a nasty glare before I walked away from her, "Sweet? Ha. Congrats, you have fallen into their trap that's full of lies." I bellowed. "Amy are you okay?" I heard her mom asked. "Amy, dear, We're very sorry for his attitude." My mom apologized. I rolled my eyes in response even though they couldn't see me.
I hate them. Every one of them.

Amy's POV:
What's wrong with him earlier? And what trap? Sometimes he just surprises me even in the most unexpected way, and this, by almost hitting me with a freakin' bottle. "Amy, dear. Here is the dress!" Mary chirped, handing it to me. "Oh wow. Thanks, umm.. miss." I smiled, as I took the dress from her. "Oh, you! You can just call me Miss Mary!" She gushed. I then smiled, before I went to the bathroom. And yeah, the thing is, my mother once again won over me by making me agree to have dinner with Sonic. She promised that she'll get me the headphones I really wanted, it's for gaming. Once I put the dress on, I was shocked by how much skin I was showing.
"Amy? Are you done yet?" My mother asked, knocking on the bathroom door. "Ye-yes!" I mumbled. When I then opened the bathroom door, my mother's eyes lit up. "Oh, sweetie! How stunning you are!" My mother praised, making me more uncomfortable. Aunt Mary went silent, making my mother and I looked at her in worry. "Is something wrong, Mary?" My mother muttered in worry.
....
......
"You look like the perfect fit for Sonic, dear! Oh, I could imagine you and him kissing--" Before she could finish, my mother immediately responded by doing an x sign up in the air. "Mary! You do know that she doesn't see Sonic in that way!" My mother said, embarrassed. "Oh, Zoe! I knew a perfect girl for my son by just looking!" Aunt Mary babbled. "Really? When you mentioned it, I could see that though!" My mother agreed. "MOM! I don't like Sonic!" I angrily told mom. "Oh dear, I could see lovers at first sight too you know!" My mother giggled.
I rolled my eyes, "Ugh, What now?"

Sonic's POV:
I swore that I heard my name being mentioned a couple of times from the other rooms, it's alarming. I then scrolled through my phone, hoping to see some social accounts notifications. And there they are, about 5'000 notifications for both Bollygram and Dogchat. "Well by seeing these notifications now, it's what I expected by just posting another photo," I smirked.
Notifications:5'000+ not.

Comeback now! You received...Curiosity took over me as I found myself searching for Amy's Bollygram account, and I found it quickly. I smirked and clicked on her handle. "Here it is..." I muttered to myself as I checked her account. "I guess she doesn't post that much. 840 followers? Not bad compared to the other people in my school." I grinned, before returning to my page.
