Chapter 38 | 'Camera Flash'

[ Author's Note: ] So like, this is what I imagined Sonic and Amy's future kid would look like. And after I finished this piece, I realized that he already looks similar to the other fan kids! XD

So in order to make him different, I dressed him up in a certain way and changed his pose a bit to make him look less bit similar to the other arts. :D

Idk if it worked, but... yeah here ya all go.

Amy's POV:

Luxury District | 9:00 AM | Saturday

I didn't expect to spend the day with Sonia and Manic, after all, I have expected to take the day off and spend my time relaxing and playing games all day. Considering as to what had happened yesterday, where Mina picked a fight with me until Sonic came in to tell her to stop. But here I am, not surprised that I was dragged here in the Luxury District to apparently, eat breakfast and stroll around with them. Don't get me wrong, I would love to hang out with the two of them. But I need a break! 

I sighed as I took a slice of the pancake that I ordered, the taste of sweetness is somehow putting me off because of the amount of honey that was drizzled on. I really want to order the matcha pancake, but apparently, it was out of stock. "Amy, what's wrong? You don't like it?" Sonia asked. I shook my head and gave her a small smile, "Nothing's wrong! I was just... enjoying the sweet taste of the honey!" Sonia's face then lit up as she gave me back a smile, "Really? This Cafe has been my favorite ever since I was little! Oh! I know! After this, we'll go to the best store here! I missed going there too."

I nodded, "Well then, let's quickly finish our breakfast then we'll quickly go there." While finishing the last bite of my breakfast, a familiar black limo suddenly stopped in front of the cafe we're in. And since it was raining, a butler with a matching black umbrella opened the door and a person went out of the car. I nearly choked when I saw that the person who stepped out of the car was Sonic, in a freaking suit. Sonia looked to see where I was looking and her mouth gaped open.

"Why the heck is he here?" Sonia whispered to me. But I was too surprised to see Sonic entering the cafe we were in that I didn't bother to respond, and every step he took, made me more anxious. I quickly looked away and so does Sonia, but at the corner of my eye, I can see him shift his gaze to us as he made his way to the other table near us. Just then, Manic arrived along with another person. The two of them sat at our table and I hastily greeted Manic and the other person as they sat down. Pretending as if I didn't saw Sonic. 

"Amy, Sonia... this is Quinn." Manic introduced, gesturing to the boy at his side. I nodded and smiled at Quinn, "Hello! Nice to meet you my name is Amy." I shook hands with him as he flashed me a smile, "The name's Quinn, Manic's bandmate." Sonia smiled, "And you should already know me?"

Quinn laughed, "Of course! Manic's only sister, Sonia 'Mexuis'."

"You guys can join and watch us while we shop till we drop after finishing our breakfast," Sonia said before she took another bite of her pancake. "Well, I'm hungry! So wait for me and Quinn because we hadn't had the time to eat breakfast earlier!" Manic complained before calling a waiter to order. Although I really want to get out of here as soon as I can since Sonic just arrived, I knew I have to be patient and polite and quietly sighed. "Say, do you know why our big bro is here? And wearing a suit?" I heard Sonia asked Manic.

Manic took a big bite first and gulped it down before he answered, "Well, I heard that he's about to meet with a brand owner for a very important company collaboration." 

Sonia responded with an "Ah" to which I then asked, "How come he's always assigned to go to meetings and such?" Before Manic could answer, Sonia then giggled and said, "Because he is the heir after all! When he becomes an adult, he'll quickly take over the business." I responded with an 'Oh' before I nodded. "Say, your brother has been looking at us since minutes ago," Quinn whispered to the three of us.
