Chapter 12 | 'My Type'

Sonic's POV:

[ The Next Day | 6:00 am | 'Mexuis' Manor ]

"Sir Sonic?" I heard a voice called from outside my room. I was already awake 10 minutes ago because I was studying for a quiz for my 2nd class. "Yes?" I answered, as I closed my notebook and set it aside. "Breakfast is almost ready." The maid informed. I then heard her walking away, and so I stood up and stretched my arms and back. I sighed, "Well, let's get ready then."

I grabbed my uniform inside my closet before I went inside the bathroom to wash up to get ready for school. After I took a shower and washed my face, I then wore my uniform and made sure that it doesn't look weird on me.

After I did all of those things, I then put my school books inside my bag for school before I grabbed my bag and rushed outside my bedroom. Every day inside the Manor, it's always the formal and proper greeting and practices, and the maids scurrying around to clean the house while my siblings get ready for the day.

But today might be the worst day, well every day is with my parents, but still. My sister voice-mailed me earlier while I was studying, and told me that they already moved out of the Manor. Things were getting big for them in Hollywood, and it was a hassle to ride a plane back home and to Hollywood all the time. So it was wise to just stay in Malibu or in Beverly Hills that's near Hollywood so they would be able to travel easily and quickly. 

Honestly, I was sad, but I couldn't do anything but to accept the news, no matter how horrible it would be. It's horrible because I'll have to eat dinner alone sometimes and with my parents.. ugh. I wouldn't mind being by myself, but with my mom and dad keeping track of every movement I make at the dinner table... it's uncomfortable and annoying at the same time.

And somehow feels depressing.

Amy's POV

School | Main Hallway | 7:58 am

"You have so many errors on your science homework, Amy." Cream told me, examining my paper. I sighed and face-planted my face on my table, "I know after I finished I read everything again... but all of it doesn't make sense!" I exclaimed as I massaged my head roughly. "Come on Amy, don't give up." Cream comforted, as she took the paper away from me.

"Hey, wanna come with me to my locker? I forgot my notebook, and maybe my notes could help you." Cream said. I immediately sat up straight and cried happily, "Oh cream, you're a lifesaver!" Both of us left the classroom and headed straight to our lockers.

We then stopped in front of Cream's locker, "You know Ames, your conclusions are somehow right. At least that's good." Cream told me, as she showed me the part on my paper. I nodded, as Cream handed my paper back and opened her locker, as I take out some papers to get her notebook.

"Ugh. Maybe a D- wouldn't hurt. Or even a C+." I sighed.

Cream giggled, "Don't be like that! I don't want you to be sad when you actually received that grade on your paper." When we were about to leave, I felt a person bumped into me, making me fall on the floor on my butt along with Cream's things. "Hey, watch where you're going!" I yelled and glared at the green-hedgehog. I then heard Cream and the other students gasped, and the hedgehog glared at me. "Excuse me?" The hedgehog growled, glaring back at me.

"I said you bumped into me! And don't use that attitude on me, you bumped into me first!" I yelled at him before I stood up from the ground and grabbed my things. I glared at the green hedgehog, he seems to be a troublemaker just by his posture and the scowl he's wearing on his face. "Don't you know who I am?! I'm the heir of the 'Velli' family!" He yelled back at me angrily. I rolled my eyes at him, "So? What does that make you?"
