Festive scene,
The air smells nice,
The food is all set on the table,
With a bowl of white rice,
Purple yam and leche flan,
No hesitation, Quick! Get your own slice,
Before its too late, move with haste like making a heist.

Funny and smart,
dumbass and a Daredevil,
My friends, I call say they were real,
such a fun moment, I cherish, I can feel,
Those memories forever, imprinted on the steel,

Orange juice is sweet and sour,
the cold is unbearable,
my senses were wild and awake,
but the taste keeping my sane,
After a minute or two, it suddenly rain,
my shoes are outside,
I have to run with haste,
To avoid the dirt, coz it's white and plain,

Long stories and karaoke shots,
I have more time for celebration,
Preferably clearing the pots,
I do have this kind of determination,
To be happy with my friends,
Get along, get crazy,
Before the end of the day comes,
we will separate our ways so quickly,

As we grow older the time suddenly moves like a marathon,
for a little child it is like binge watching movies on movie marathon,
Message here, emails there, calling someone on the phone,
I missed to play and get along, lick the chocolate on my ice cream cone,

I feel full,
I need to go to the bathroom and release some baggage,
so that I can still eat more food on the cottage,
I have to be quick so I can still pack some food,
a take away, for the next day of my life's page,
It isn't greedy, it's a culture,  it is not staged,
Coz we feel bad if the excess, will turn to the phase of spoilage,

This is the most Filipino inspired piece that I ever wrote,
I don't feel bad, I just don't want to be here,
But there's no way out, some says I should be proud,
I am trying, I just can't stand this,
It feels like a burden, more like the end of my bucket list,
The government is corrupted, the people were culturally racists,
I do detest them and yes, they were my fellow countrymen,
It is so delicate,
Like the end of my pen.

Read this poem in pieces and portions,
You can comeback, I have a buffet for those who's curious on my intentions,
Writing this book is like spitting a chewing gum that you chewed for 3hrs,
Most of the pieces where crafted low-cost,
but I do enjoy playing with the recipes,
Oh and the secret ingredient? It's only a sprinkle of words and a tablespoon of insanity.

You may be decieve by the words,
But you can't deny the fact that this book is boring,
and yet you're still here reading this,
I wonder how far can you read this fusion of reality and fantasy?
where the end is bottomless and foggy.
