Chapter 12

Titans Tower December 29th
"Titans assemble in the control room, ASAP" Nightwing said over the intercom

"Uhh, I just got back from patrol" Beast Boy sighed walking in with Blue Beetle

"You mean you just finished eating three pizzas" Raven said

"Be quiet Raven no one needs to know that" he said looking at her laughing

"Titans I bet your wondering why I have summoned you" Dick said

"Yes" they replied in unison

" Well in less then three days we will be welcoming two new members, well one new one old" Dick replied

"Wait is Robin coming back" Jaimie asked

"Yes he is, why do you all look upset about it, he's not that bad" Dick exclaimed

"When he first arrived he kidnapped us to test our abilities" Kori said

"He nearly stabbed me through a wall on his first night" Beast boy followed

"That's all in the past he's changed since arriving home he's calmer and a bit nicer but still cynical and snarky" Dick said scratching his head while trying to exit the room

"Who's the new guy then" Raven questioned

"I was asked to keep that secret all you need to know is that they are a power house and will be a great asset to the team" Dick said closing the door.

"I have more questions then answers, but all I'm saying is I don't want to be next door to Damian ever again" Beast Boy said

"Be careful with what you say he might be listening" Raven said sending a shiver down Beast Boys spine.

Paradise Islands December 30th
"Happy Anniversary Beloved" Damian whispered into Jon's ear

"Anniversary, what anniversary" Jon questioned puzzled

"It's our 1 month anniversary we have been together a month, this is why we came out here" Damian said slightly upset that Jon forgot their anniversary but he didn't let that get in his way

"I love you Dami, you know that don't you and I didn't actually forget I'm not that stupid" Jon said

"I never said you were beloved" Damian said

"I know but you have that look in your eye" Jon said staring into Damian's emerald eyes.

Jon handed Damian an emblem with an R on it, "What's this" Damian questioned

"Put it where your emblem normally goes and tap it twice" Jon said and Damian followed as instructed

As soon as he tapped the second time a space suit formed around him in the Robin colours. "Why do I need this" he asked but instead of answering Jon picked him up and flew out the door and into space to look at the stars and constellations

"Happy anniversary Dami" Jon said looking at his boyfriend

Damian was taken away by the scenery he had been on the watchtower before but this was different he had never been in space the way Jon or Clark have but he is now, "Thank you beloved".

When they returned to the ground Jon went for a walk on the beach and Damian went into the villa, they had been eating pre-made meals thanks to Alfred over the last few days but Damian wanted to do something special for Jon he wanted to cook and he knew he could after spending all that time with Alfred in Wayne Manors kitchen. Damian had planned a three course meal, for starters a vegetable soup, for a main he was doing himself a salad and Jon a burger and chips and for dessert something special as Damian has always said Jon's real superpower was his sweet tooth, he was making a chocolate fudge cake with double chocolatey chocolate chip ice cream.

Paradise Islands 17:30
Jon returned from his walk, to a beautiful smell coming from the kitchen, he walked in the lights were dimmed and a few candles lighting a path to the table where Damian was waiting for him

"Hello beloved, wont you join me" Damian said looking at Jon standing in the doorway

"Yeah of course, eh what smells so good" he asked making his way to the table

"I made the dinner from scratch tonight I hope you like it, they are all Alfreds recipes" Damian said uncovering the food.

The two teenagers spent the rest of the evening eating and talking about the last two months until Damian grabbed Jon's hand and ran out the door to sea front with him

"Why'd we come out here" Jon asked

"I thought a change of scenery would be nice" Damian replied

While he pressed a button that set of an array of fireworks

"I love you" Jon said looking at the shorter boy

"Who doesn't" Damian responded earning a laugh from Jon

"I'm sorry I left if I could change that I would" Damian said hugging Jon's arm

"I know you would but I think if you hadn't of left we wouldn't be standing here right now so in a way I am thankful that you're here now" Jon said kissing his forehead

Jon turned around to walk back to the villa, he took a few steps before noticing Damian wasn't following he turned around and saw Damian down on one knee

"Jon this is not a marriage proposal because I believe we are still two young, but it is a promise ring and if you want it you can have it" Damian said afraid of the response he might get

"For Bruce Wayne's son you really aren't as smooth with people as he is and the answer is yes" Jon said running towards Damian as they cried happy tears on the Sandy beach.
