Chapter 16

Batcave February 5th
Alfred had set off the code black, Bruce hadn't returned from visiting Titans Tower and Mount Justice and whenever he disappeared he usually said something or left something for Alfre but this time nothing.

"Pennyworth, what's wrong why the code black" Damian said, he was the first one to arrive. He arrived to the sight of Alfred slumped over in a chair he walked up to him and gave him a hug. "I'm here now, tell me what's wrong"

He was interrupted by the arrival of Tim, Jason and Stephanie.

"What's wrong why is Damian showing physical affection and where is Bruce" Jason questioned

"I don't think Bruce is here boys, that's why Alfred looks broken" Stephanie said running up to join the hug leaving Tim and Jason in shock.

Dick then arrived with Barbara and Cass. "Oh no" Dick said causing a shiver to run down their spines.

Dick and Cass got Alfred to go rest while Barbara and Tim started searching for Bruce. Steph and Jason went off to train to let off steam and Damian just wondered around the cave aimlessly till his phone rang.

"Dami, you there" Jon said

"Yeah, sorry I can't talk family emergency" Damian said trying to hang up

"Dami don't you dare hang up, you can talk to me you know that so talk to me" Jon said reassuringly

"Jon it's my father he's been missing for two days and he usually lets someone know but this time nothing and I feel a pit in my stomach something is wrong Jon I can feel it" Damian said almost crying

"I'm on my way" Jon said

"No stay at the tower I'm sending you a file to be plugged into the training simulator and you guys start training you and Kori are in charge till Dick and I return" Damian said

"If you need me call, I love you" Jon said

"Love you too, beloved see you soon" Damian hung up the phone and started crying.

"Barb do you hear that" Tim said looking at her

"Sounds like crying go check I'll continue working on this" she said ushering Tim away

What Tim saw was quite the unusual sight Damian curled up in a ball crying, he didn't know what to do since him and Damian never saw eye to eye but he walked towards him and sat beside him.

"I'm here if you want to talk Damian" he said stroking Damian's back

Damian instantly turned to Tim and hugged him sobbing into his arm "I'm so sorry this isn't normal, I'll be fine in a minute" Damian said.

Damian let go of Tim and walked away, Tim got up amazed at the fact Damian had feelings but knew not to say anything to Damian or he would have his head cut off, Tim walked back to where Barbara was except Dick was there now.

"Tim you okay you look like you've seen a ghost" Barbara said

"It's just Damian he was actually crying like sobbing letting everything out I didn't know what to do and he hugged me then walked off" Tim said

"Don't worry I'll fix it" Dick said walking off

Dick returned five minutes later "I fixed it now let's get back to work"

14:00 Wayne Manor
Damian was lying in bed crying and he didn't know why, it wasn't like him he thought maybe he's just tired but it wasn't that, he understood why after thinking for an hour. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Go away I don't want to talk" he shouted

"Now that's no way to talk to your boyfriend now is it" Jon said entering the room

"I told you to stay at the tower" Damian said

"I know but Dick called and told me, do you want to talk about it or just sit here and cuddle?" Jon asked smiling

"Cuddle" Damian replied with big sad eyes and with that they both were lying in the cuddling while Damian silently cried into Jon's jumper.

Back in the Batcave
"Found something" Tim shouted

"What" they all replied

"Bruce's last known co-ordinates were this warehouse on Gotham bay, it blew up two days ago but that's not the part I find interesting both Selina and Kate were there too" Tim said

"Then we find them" Damian said walking down the stairs

"I tried to stop him, I really did but you know him" Jon said flying behind him

"When did space boy get here" Jason asked

"I called him, thanks for coming Jonnie boy" Dick said

"Now that we're all introduced and said hello let's find my father, we are splitting into two teams" Damian said

"Who put you in charge" Jason said walking towards Damian

"I did have a problem with that Todd" Damian said putting his hand on his sword handle ready for a fight

"Calm down fighting won't find Bruce" Cass said

"Anyways Spoiler, Orphan, Red Hood and Red Robin you all go search for Kate Nightwing, Superboy and I will search for Selina and Oracle your on comms, Move out" Damian yelled
