Arc: Level C [Continued]
April 14- Day 14J
The origin of the explosion seemed to be closer to Ken's house than the park. Perhaps even closer to the FBHE building. Though for the impact of that attack to make its way to the park proves that it was quite a strong explosion.
In this province, you will find the most amount of FBHE buildings here. After all, it is known to hold the headquarters of FBHE. As we head towards the disaster location, 2 FBHE buildings stood next to each other as the other 2 that were once beside it were in ruins.
"Destroyed," Sapphira whispers as she looks around. "Should we go inside?"
She begins to head towards the building before I snap my fingers. She turns around as I say, "I just explained aura reading."
Her eyes slightly widen before she quickly closes them, attempting to feel the aura through the building. "Oh-"
"You were about to walk in to all those Elites and Yamirens." I walk up closer to her as I look at the building filled with the other beings. "'Not that it would've been much of a problem dealing with them, but certainly unnecessary."
"Yeah, my bad. I'll be more careful."
"Your aura is concealed. So we can go inside with our invisibility." Once she nods her head, we teleport inside to the 8th floor, where the highest amount of aura could be felt. We were both invisible to others' eyes, though we could still see each other.
The floor seemed to have been an office, at least before the attack took place. At this point, desks and chairs were moved or broken, as holes were seen in the walls. Documents and books were scattered on the floor as windows were broken. Ability marks could also be seen across the room on the walls and floors.
Though as for the most interesting thing were the humans and Elites laying on the ground.
"Are they dead?" Sapphira begins checking on some of the pulses of those on the ground. We both take off our invisibility, considering no one else was around on this floor.
"The other auras on the other floors," I begin saying as she looks at me. "They have disappeared."
"Disappeared?"
"Someone's taking their cores," I elaborate.
Her eyes slightly widen before she continues checking pulses. "The majority of them here are already dead... but their cores should still be intact, at least I still feel some aura on them."
As I watch her do that, I feel a tug on my pants, causing me to look down. There, was a woman, perhaps in her 30s, who was covered in noticeable wounds and bruises. Her shirt and pant were ripped in some parts with blood staining parts of it.
"H-help," the woman says in a raspy voice.
I simply continue to look at her as Sapphira hears the voice and comes closer. Before she can say a word, I feel auras gradually near, causing me to signal her to put on her invisibility cloak as I put mine on first.
As we both stand, invisible to the eye, the woman on the floor attempts to reach out to us, constantly begging for us to help her.
