Arc: Past Blues & Whites [Continued]

December 1B- *13 years ago*

    "This.....is you favorite room?"

I look around at the room displayed in front of me.

"Here, let me show you around."

    I nod my head.

"But we can be here for only a couple of minutes. Your dad will kill me if he found out I brought you here."

He begins walking, and I follow him.

    "Here's the weapon area."

I look at the display. I see all types of weapons that seem to have even different colors or different features. Some even felt....magical.

"What do you see?" he asks me.

"Mhmmm.....Guns, swords....knives.....I think I've seen these ones before." I point to the other weapons that looked like a knife attached to a handle.

"Well, theses are called Kama. And these other ones are called scythes."

I cock my head, and begin to process the newfound information.

"Wooow." I face him, "Can I touch?"

    "Nope."

    "Whyyyyy???"

He pulls me back from the weapon stations, and brings me towards the door.

"Because you're a kid."  He then smiles.

I frown my face, and look at him. "But you're young tooooo......"

"Nope." He opens the door, and leads me back to where my father was.

~

After no longer than a couple of minutes, I sit on the back of the car, ready to leave. As my father starts the car, and begin to leave the parking lot, I roll down my window, and look outside. I noticed that it cwasn't only the building itself that looked nice, but even the scenery around it was beautiful.

    "How was your tour?"

I look at my dad, prepared to ask him. "I went t-" I pause, realizing that Maklen probably didn't want my dad to know where he brought me.

My dad loudly sighs. "Did he bring you to the weapon room?"

My eyes widen as I look at my dad. "Um...." I didn't know how to respond. I didn't want to get Maklen in trouble, but I didn't want to get in trouble either.

"It's okay Ken. I expected him to do that anyways."

I breathe out at a sign of relief. "Wait, but how come it's fine for him to go in there, but I can't?"

    "Because you're too young."

I frown my face. "What do you mean?"

"Maklen is 15. He's old enough to make responsible decisions. But you.....you're too young."

I knew that Maklen was older than me, but I didn't think he was that old. Even though, I frown my face at his response.

I sigh, and continue to look out my dad's window.

    "Daddy?"

    "Hmm?"

    "What is your job?"
