April 12- Day 12B

Stylus' POV

    I sigh as Ken and Zarith disappear in thin air once again. Blair makes a surprised expression as she looks over at me.

    "How can they do that?" she asks.

    I scoff. "You don't remember what Yamirens can do?"

    "Yeah, but didn't Ken teleport himself the last time?"

    I shake my head as I shrug. "I-I honestly don't know." Looking closely at her, I notice that she is slightly shaking. "Are... are you okay?"

    She quickly looks up at me. "H-huh?" She completely turns around to face the computer, possibly attempting to hide herself. "Nah, I'm fine-"

    "Is it because of Ken?" I abruptly ask.

    She stays silent for a couple of seconds, though after logging out of the computer, she turns back around to face me.

    "Well, uh....," she stutters. She nervously scoffs as she brings her legs up to her chest, and hugs it. "I don't think he's joking when he says that he'll kill me."

    "I..... see-"

    "But in a way, he was always like that," she adds.

    "Hm? What do you mean?"

    "Well, I don't think you really noticed, considered how you always hung around him. Though he always had that dominating... feeling around him. But his attitude now is definitely on par with that." She sighs. "How is that even possible....? For him to get an ability now I mean."

    "He.... hasn't really told me much. At least I feel like he knows more than what he's saying. Though I feel like his abilities has always been there, just inaccessible."

    "B-but how?" she asks before I shrug my shoulders as a response. "A-and that Yamiren. I- I never met one before in my life. His energy was just as intimidating."

    I unintentionally scoff. "I don't trust him at all."

    "Really?" she responds. "Do you... think what they told us about Yamirens is true?"

    "That they're manipulating? That they're untrustworthy?" I let out a slight chuckle as I look away. "Of course it is. Ever since Ken met him, he's...." I pause as I recollect my past memories of Ken. "Been different...," I continue. "Though Blair, what did you mean before? That Ken is, in a way, the same?"

    She scoffs. "Honestly, Stylus, it's hard to explain. It's just the vibe. His aura. That's all." She quickly looks up at me. "Though it makes sense, doesn't it? For Ken and that Yamiren to be together. What did that book say...," she asks herself. "Something like level Rs and Yamirens are connected?"

    I look at her for a couple of seconds. "I.... see," I slowly respond. Suddenly, my phone vibrates. I quickly pick it up, and notice a text message from David. "Well, it seems like I have to go now. See you later." I turn around and prepare to head out the door until Blair stops me.
