Arc: Past Blues & Whites [Continued]

May 6B- *7 years ago*

We walk up the hill, nearing my house. Though as we get closer, it begins to quickly get darker, and suddenly starts to rain.

"Ah, it's raining." As soon as I say that, it begins to rain a lot harder. I run ahead of Stylus. "Stylus, come on!" I say. He then runs after me.

I stop at the front of my house once we get there. Stylus stops as well and looks at me. "Well.....Bye I guess." He begins to run off.

"Wait! Stylus!" I say before he can go far. He turns around, and quickly runs up to me.

"Yeah?"

"You can stay here with me if you want. Ya know, so you can wait for the rain to die down."

"Uhh, honestly, It's fi-"

It then starts raining a lot harder than before. I roll my eyes, and pull him in towards the door. I quickly open it with my house key, and we entered.

We didn't really realize it at first, but as soon as we entered the house, we realized how wet we were. All we could hear were the sounds of our clothes and objects dripping.

Suddenly, I hear footsteps running towards us. It's my mom. "Oh dear, Ken. I knew I should have picked you up."

I smile. "It's okay mom. You must have been busy."

She smiles back. "Go and change, Ken." She looks up and sees Stylus. "Oh, hi."

Stylus quietly responds, "Hi...."

"Well!" My mom says. "You're welcome to stay as long as you like. Ken." She turns to me. "Go find him some spare clothes." I nod my head.

"Thank you," Stylus says.

"And what is your name?" my mom asks.

"Stylus...," he answers.

Suddenly, my mom's eye slightly widen. She breathes in and out. "Oh, nice to meet you. Have fun kids," she says as she walks away.

I turn to Stylus. "That was weird." Expecting Stylus to answer, I stare at him, but all he does is look down and examine his wet body. "Well, uh," I say, getting him to look up. "Let's get you some new clothes."

I slowly walk up the steps looking around and wondering why my mother reacted the way she did. She was usually excited when I brought friends over to my house, but this time she acted differently.

"Ken," Stylus said. "Are you okay?"

I completely turn around to face Stylus. "What do you mean?"

"Well, you're walking awfully slow," he mentioned, looking at me in the weirdest way possible.

"Oh sorry," I say as I continue to walk upstairs.

Once we reached the top of the stairs, I turned around to face Stylus. He barely made eye contact, and continued to face the ground. It was so quiet that I was able to hear the water dripping from our clothes. "Oh, shoot!" I say, realizing that if we stand there any longer, the floor would end up being soaking wet. I quickly opened the door, and ran to my drawer. I took out a blue towel with white spots all around it. I threw it at Stylus with an "ow" following after it. I supposed I hit him by accident. I continued to look for clothes and found a nice set of clothing; a simple shirt and simple shorts. I finally get up with the clothes in my hands, and I walk towards Stylus.
