April 7- Day 7E

I simply stood in pure shock. What did he mean by 'True Essence'? What was he talking about? Suddenly, he speeds past me as he whispers, "I'll let you think about that."

I quickly snap out of my thoughts, and swiftly turn around. My eyes widen as I was shocked to see the two figures in front of me. "Didn't I kill you two..?" I glare. In front of me are the enemies with the green and orange hair. Though, they didn't seem conscious. In fact, they stood as if they were zombies, and their eye pupils weren't there. "I don't have time for this." I quickly look over to the side and see Tairen heading directly towards Ivy and Ace. With his level, he could easily break through that shield Stylus had set up. And it seems like Stylus is far too busy dealing with the other dolls to be guarding the shield.

I quickly run up to the two enemies. They lash out at me as well, though I swiftly dodge both of them, and cut their achilles tendons with one slice. They both fall to the ground as I run after Tairen. "Was he able to do this before..?" I whisper. I look up, and notice that I won't make it in time if I continue to run at this pace. I use the tape ability, and connect it the the bubble. Luckily, it was strong enough to hold my weight. I then allow the tape to shorten, launching me past Tairen, and in front of Ivy and Ace.

I glance over behind me to see them look up. I quickly turn back around in attempt to avoid them seeing me. "You can't hide any longer you know." I look up to see Tairen dash at me. He had a knife in his hand, and it seemed to me that he was going to attack them. I swiftly lift up my arm mounted sword, and as he reaches less than a foot away from me, I slash what I believe is the top of his head as he slashes my cheeks.

I smirk. "I got you." His hoodie quickly fell, allowing me to properly see his eyes. The top of his head dripped with blood as well, as he moved his hand to touch it.

As he looks at it, he smiles as well. "I got you too." He slowly looks up at me.

My cheek bleeds as my mask slowly falls off my face. It was made out of light material, and he seemed to have cut it off with that knife of his. I lightly touch my cheek, and wipe off a bit of the dripping blood.

"K-Ken...?" Ivy slowly says. I refrain from looking back at them.

"Well... it's game over for me," Tairen chuckles.

"Who said that the battle is over, huh? What was your point of coming here?" I quickly get into a defensive stance as Stylus quickly runs over beside me, deeply breathing in and out.

"Oh come on.." He pauses as he smirks. "Ken. You should know why I'm here."

I glare, "What do you mean?"

"And," he ignores me. "You should know it's game over for me." He begins to put his knife away. Then, he slowly looks up at me. "You should have noticed the gap already."

"The gap..?" I whisper.

"Now that you've seen my eyes, you're now able to detect my abilities... right?"

He was right. His eyes were glowing dark purple, now that I have a better look at it. His abilities allow him to control any object he touches, as long as he has a basic understanding of the body's structure. And he has recently leveled up to a level S, so a new ability was added. It seems like he is now able to control dead bodies.... interesting.
