Arc: Level C [Continued]
March 14- *14 years ago* Recovered Memory
Bored, I randomly begin to walk around the room. I have already read the majority of the books David gave me, though I don't want to finish reading them before my time is up.
Suddenly, I notice a rise in energy. I quickly turn around, only to see Zarith again, who is soaked in water.
"It's raining outside," Zarith mentions as he takes off his cloak. I've actually never seen him without it, so I continue looking at him as he sets down the wet cloth on the chair. Without it, it was made even more obvious that he was quite tall. His muscle definition could also be seen through his tight shirt.
"Is it?" I slowly respond as I turn around to touch the white cushioned walls. "I can barely hear anything," I say as I drag my fingers down the wall. Suddenly, I notice a change of texture, and quickly examine the area.
"What are you doing?" Zarith asks as he walks up to me.
While continuing to examine the area, I answer, "Oh, well I just thought I felt something here..."
Zarith touches the wall as well as his eyes slowly widen. "Oh?" he chuckles. "You want to see?" he suddenly asks, causing me to give a confused expression. He quickly grabs my hand, and within a second, we are brought into a different setting.
He slowly lets me go as I begin to look around the room. "W-what is this?" I stutter.
"It must be like an arena," he answers. "David never told you this was through the door?"
"I never even knew there was a door there. It's awfully hard to see with all of that white." I continue to look around the spacious room, until I notice a part that seems quite familiar. I run up to the corner of the room. "I've seen this room before..," I slowly say. "But from where?" I turn over to Zarith to simply see him smirk. I sigh. "He probably knows already," I whisper to myself. Looking beside me, I notice another door. "Jeez, another door?"
"Let's see." Zarith suddenly grabs me as we're teleported into the next room.
Once we're there, it's hard to see anything. "It's quite dark in here," I mention before the light suddenly turns on. I look up at Zarith, only to see him he standing right next to the switch. Looking around, the place seemed like a room similar to mine, but slightly more furnished. "Someone actually lives here..? Well, I suppose that makes sense if we're in the FBHE.."
Suddenly, Zarith scoffs. "FBHE?"
I turn over to him. "You don't know? It's my dad's j-"
"I know what it is, Ken," he says with a smirk. "You'll find out eventually, I suppose," he simply states with as he walks around the room.
I sigh. "I wonder who's staying here..." Although the place was furnished, it was quite plain, in terms of design. Though just like my room, the room lacked windows, and was only lit up by the white lights, gleaming from the ceiling.
"Perhaps ask David," Zarith answers.
"That's a good idea," I say as I look at him. "He'll be back soon, so you probably should leave." I look down and begin to fidget until I mention, "I didn't expect you to come back.... At least not so soon..." I look up at him. "Did you finish whatever you needed to do?"
