"Ken!.......K.n.......P.ea.e....wa.e..u." Suddenly, everything went black. All I could hear were the muffled sounds of Echo's voice. She sounded distressed, scared.....You could hear her voice crack each and every time. I wanted to tell her it was gonna be ok.......but the pain was just unbearable. But....I....just wanted....to tell her.....it'll......be.....ok..........
~
Hey......can you hear me?
"Wha-what......." Thinking that I have finally waken up, I sit up. Yet I am once again presented by the darkness that surrounds me. I look around only the be confronted by the same area; the area with no light. Suddenly, I hear the voice again.
Ken.....Focus.
I shift back, startled by the sudden dominant voice that clouded my mind. "Who-Who are you?" I bravely say out loud. Expecting to not get a response, I feel a sudden wave on energy move closer to me. It felt so suppressing, I almost couldn't breathe. I felt like I was going to faint all over again till I felt what seemed to be a hand on the top of my head. As a reaction, I spin the opposite direction to see where the hand may have came from. I widen my eyes at what I see in front of me. It wasn't a human figure. More like a ghost like figure, with the color red that splattered all around it. It was like a fire figure. It wasn't hot, yet it seemed like it.
"Focus Ken. I don't have all day."
It's voice startled me. I was honestly scared. And I've never been as scared as I was today. Suddenly, the figure moves closer to me, uses its palm to bring up my chin to its height, and moves closer to me. "Calm down. I'm not here to hurt you." Even though its words meant no harm, I still couldn't shake off the scared feeling that befell me. It moves a bit back. "And I would prefer for you to stop calling me an.....'it'." My eyes widen. How was it able to hear my thoughts? It sighs, probably as a response to my thoughts. "Anyways, I am here to give you a message. I don't have a lot of time, hell, I was lucky to even get a hold of you at all." I proceed to stare at him. He sighs once he notices my expression. "Ken....remember this. Nothing is what it seems. You have met people and will meet people that will seem one way, but turn to be another. Even for the people that you seem to trust the most......" After that statement, there's a long pause as his fire-like figure begins to fade in and out. "My time seems to be up at this point. Ken..... Don't forget what I said. Trust me, we will meet again, and once we do, I won't be leaving any time soon." After that statement, but figure makes a visible smirk as he laughs as he fades away. Suddenly, I hear a whisper, "Trust me......"
Then all went dark once again.

"Kennnnn!! Oh my god." As I slowly open my eyes, those are the first words I hear. I attempt to sit up a bit, but Echo notices. "NO! Ken, you need to rest." I look around and notice that I'm on my bed, and everyone's in the room with me. My mom, my dad, and Echo.
"What.....what happened?" I say. I suddenly remember that weird dream that I had. I was honestly shocked since it felt so real, but I didn't want to worry them, so I decided to remain calm.
"Ken, oh thank goodness," my mom says. She grabs a cold wetted towel and puts it to my head. "Are you feeling better sweetie?"
I nod my head yes and look to see my dad standing up right beside my mother and Echo.
"How are you feeling?" my mom quickly asks. I attempt to sit up, and give her a definite answer.
"Yeah, I'm ok."
