Regulus didn't have friends. It wasn't like no one wanted to be his friend, he just prefers to be alone. He's only had one friend his entire life, his older brother Sirius. But since Regulus was sorted into slytherin they had a sort of falling out, since then Regulus has been on his own. No one has made an effort to talk to him, no one knows what kind of person he is, hes Hogwarts mystery.

But someone recently took a liking to him, someone that's been hard to get rid of. His brothers best friend James Potter, the most arrogant annoying kid in Hogwarts.

"Go away Potter" Regulus tried hiding in the library but James always seems to find him.

"Wanna play quidditch?" Regulus turned to him with a annoyed expression. His arms holding his book to his chest.

"No, leave me alone" He knew that wouldn't work, that's what annoyed him the most about James.

"Prongs the fuck you doing with him" that also annoyed him, whenever James would find him, Sirius would find James. And that led to a lot of awkward staring until Regulus gave up and walked away.

"Regulus- wait" Regulus stopped for a moment turning to look James in the eye, why won't he take the hint, he doesn't want to talk to James why doesn't he get that.

"Stop following me Potter, it's getting annoying. Work like the rest of this damn school and leave me alone" Regulus thought snapping at him would work but Jamss continued to walk beside him.

"You look lonely... I thought I could be your friend?"

"I don't need friends, I'm not lonely"

"Hanging out with a Gryffindor? Turning out just like your disgraceful brother!" Regulus kept his eyes down as a howler screeched across the great hall, apparently a slytherin had seen James and him walking together and felt the need to tell his parents.

"Regulus-" Regulus felt a hand touch his shoulder making him shrug it off.

"Shut the fuck up Potter, this is why I said leave me alone" People in the great hall stared at him in sympathy, it annoyed him so much he wanted to hex the entire school. But instead he decided to storm out hoping no one would follow him.
