I feel arms wrapped around me. I hear Lando's voice, I don't understand what he's saying. I tightly hold the watch in my hand. No one is taking this from me. I feel his hands on my chin, they are cold. Just like me. He lifts my face. I can't seem to focus my eyes. I don't know how long I have been sitting here. All I can think about is my brother. Would he have been proud of me? Or is what Noah said true? I have to make a decision about Lando, I don't want him in any danger.

A shooting pain goes through me as i'm being picked up. I feel i'm in Lando's arms, the feeling of safety overwhelms me. I close my eyes as I feel tears stream down my face. I hear Lando mumble something about not wanting me to be seen like this or something. I also hear Max his voice. Everything goes right past me. It's not worth listening to anymore. All I want is just to go home to Kate and lay in my bed.

Lando puts me down on some sort of bed. I open my eyes and look at my hands. They are bloody and trembling. "You're in the medical center. Max called someone who is going to check you" Lando explains. I nod.

Quickly after that a docter walks in. She introduces herself as doctor Smith. "Mia, can you tell me what happend to you?" she asks me. For the first time I look up. The doctor looks nice. Lando stands beside me and I see Max leaning against a desk. Lando looks defeated. The look on Max his face I can't quite place, maybe anger and guilt? But what would he feel guilty about?

"Guys, could you maybe give us a minute?" the doctor asks.

"What? No! I want to be here" Lando says, his voice breaking. Max stands up and softly grabs Lando by his arm. He resist for a moment. "It's ok. I'll let you back in as soon as we are done" doctor Smith says. I don't want to look at Lando, scared off the look on his face.

As soon as the guys leave the room I look at doctor Smith. "I want to go home." I realize how squeaky my voice sounds, well there is barely any sound coming out. "I know sweetie, you tell me what happend to you and then i'll check you."

"Nothing."

She looks at me, waiting for a better answer. "I fell. I tripped over something and hit my head." That came out really fast. Well, I did have a lot of practice. The doctor sighs, like she's realizes I probably won't tell her what happened. I mean, why should I? What can she do?

She examines me, my wrist, my head and she asks me a few uncomfortable questions, which I all answer with 'no', gladly. "Could you open your hand for me?" she asks. "No" I say louder than I meant. "It's ok, just put whatever you're holding on your legs. I need to remove the glass from your hand" she says kindly. I doubt for a moment, but then carefully lay the watch on my legs. Glass falls on the ground. I look at the watch with tears in my eyes. There is no glass left, the strap completely torn apart. The clock stands still, at the time Noah broke it. I keep it that way, so it reminds me off what Noah asked, well demanded.

My whole hand feels numb. "Well, luckily it isn't broken, but it is close" she says. Luckily. I wouldn't call this luck. "Sorry, poor choice of words" she says as she sees the look on my face. "You are going to need a few stitches though."

When she is finally done with the stitches and new bandages I stand up from the bed. Everything spins before my eyes. "Are you ok?"

"Yes, fine."

"Be careful the next couple of days. You have a slight concussion. The stitches may be removed three days from now. I could give you instructions on how to do it, or you could let another doctor do it."

"No it's ok, I've removed them before" I say. She looks at me with pity, just the look I hate the most.

When the doctor opens the door everyone is waiting there, Charles, Charlotte, Pierre, Carlos, Max and Lando. Everyone wants to say something, so they are all talking through each other.

"Guys, give her a moment" Max says. Thanks Max.

"If you have any questions you can always call me" the doctor says. "I do have one question. Am I cleared to fly?" I ask.

"What? No, Mia. We'll stay in the hotel longer" Lando says. I keep looking at the doctor. "Yes, it's fine. Just be careful" she says as she walks away.

"Babe" Lando sighs. As he lays his hand on my back, shivers run through my spine. I immediately am back behind the trailer. Lando doesn't seem to notice. I take a step forward, so his hand falls down. "I want to go home" I say to Max. He nods.

"I'm coming with you" Lando says.

"You don't have to" I reply.

"It wasn't a question."

I shrug my shoulders and walk towards the car, I just want to get the hell out of here. Max quickly follows.

Charlotte takes a few steps towards me, when suddenly Lando stops her. "You" he sounds angry, "don't get to do anything."

I keep walking, but quickly take a look around. Her eyes are filled with tears. "Lando come on, she couldn't have known" Charles says. "I don't give a fuck" Lando says as he quickly walks after us. I don't know what happened between them, but I don't have the energy to say something about it.

Lando quickly goes up to get our stuff from the hotel room. I tried once more to tell him he should go to England and do his meetings and stuff, but he insisted on coming with me. I knew it would be pointless to try again, so I kept my mouth shut.

"I'm sorry" Max says when Lando walks away. I look at him, but he can't seem to look at me. When I don't respond he continues. "I told Lando" he says. I nod. "I know."

"I couldn't keep it from him any longer, you were gone and, and, I knew" he stammers.

"I know."

"I'm sorry" he says again.

"Me too."
