Sorry the uploads are taking longer, buttt I'm working on a new book. Which I think you're going to like very much, more coming soon! I have a very important question at the end, so please answer it, it will help a lot. Thank you! Enjoy this chapter.
It has been a few weeks. I've done a lot of school work, a lot of studying and a lot of packing. Because in about, I quickly look at my watch to see how much time I have left, I leave to go on holiday. We're taking the boat to a few different places, but first Croatia. I have never been, so I'm very excited. Max and Kelly, Charles and Charlotte, a few of Lando's friends are coming. Carlos intended to come, but couldn't at the last moment.
I feel my phone vibrating, Lando is face-timeing me. "Hey muppet" he says as soon as he sees my face. "Hi baby, hold on a minute" I quickly throw the last few things in my bag and head out. The taxi is already waiting for me. Well, taxi.. It's Max his driver. I insisted to take the train, but when Max heard he just send the driver out, no discussion. Dickhead told me it would be rude to let the driver come all this way for nothing. I finally realize there is no point in arguing with him.
The driver is nice enough to even take my bag and put it in his trunk. "Thank you" I say as he opens the door for me. "You're welcome, to Monaco we go" he says as he gets behind the wheel.
"Sorry, just hopped in the taxi" I say to Lando. The taxi driver closes the window in the car, separating the both of us to give me more privacy. "How did your finals go?" Lando asks, laying on the couch. I see an empty bag laying next to him. "I think they went ok, but babe. You're not going to tell me you haven't packed your bag yet." Slowly he moves the camera, so I don't see the bag anymore. "Lando!"
"I just need a few things, I'll be done in 30 minutes" he says. I know he believes that, but I do not. "I know you, you are going to pack at the last moment, making us late! You can't make everybody wait, hurry up" I laugh as I shake my head. "Oh shusss, I have at least 4 hours until you arrive" Lando says. I roll my eyes. We both know who is really going to pack his back tonight.. and it's not going to be him. "I'm not packing your bag" I warn him. "Of course not, see I'm already walking to my closet" Lando says, still laying on his couch. "You are an idiot" I say, but I can't help laughing.
The whole car ride to Monaco I spend on Face Time with Lando. He still has not packed his bag. Well, I don't think throwing a few shorts and shirts in your suitcase qualifies as packing your bag. "Are you here?" Lando asks when I get out of the car. He finally jumps up from his couch. "Yeah, I'm going to hang up now" I say. I put the phone back in my pocket. I still can't believe Lando lives here, in Monaco. It's fucking crazy. I also can't believe in a few months I'm going to live here in Monaco also.
When I step out of the elevator Lando is standing in his doorway, leaning against the side. His boxer shows just a little bit above his grey joggers. He wears a white t-shirt and his hair is all messy. Just how I like him. "Hey handsome" I say as Lando takes over my bag. As soon as he puts it down in his apartment he wraps his arms around me, holding me close. "I missed you" Lando says. "I missed you too."
We spent the evening pretty chilled. We went for a walk, ordered some food, watched a movie and took a bath. Yes. He has a bath. Yes. It's amazing.
"I could get used to this" I say, my head lays still on his chest. The view from is bed is pretty amazing. We can look over the sea. "Well, you know what I asked you" Lando answers. I sit up a bit, so I can see his face. "You were serious?" I ask, trying to hide a smile. "Come on you muppet, you know I was serious. I asked you about ten times" he says. I look at him. Damn, he really is serious.
"Think about it" he says, sitting up against the head bord. "It would be so much easier for you to come and live with me. You wouldn't have to sleep in some shit box, your work is at walking distance from my place and I would get to see you so much more" he says, getting all excited. "That all sounds very good, but I can't afford this place Lando" I say, quickly continuing before he interups me, "and I know you will say I don't have to pay, but I don't want that. It wouldn't feel right" I explain. He looks at me for a few moments. "Ok, I have an idea. I pay about twenty percent of my paycheck to rent, I think it would be fair if you also pay twenty percent of your paycheck on the rent." When he sees me doubting he quickly continues. "It wouldn't be fair if you spend more than twenty percent" Lando says, shrugging his shoulders. As weird as that arrangement is, it does sound reasonable.
"Hmm, I guess I could live with that."
"So?" Lando asks, looking hopeful.
"Soooo, yes. Yes, I'll move in with you" I say.
I hope you enjoyed! For the new book I'm working on... which F1 driver would you like to see in the new book?
Sooo, for the time being, I'm going to stop writing this book. Maybe one day I'll continue this series, but for now this is it. I'll upload the new chapter of my new book in the next few days, so stay tuned!
