We're almost at my apartment and Lando hasn't told me much about himself. Every question I ask he seems to dodge. He is asking me a lot about myself though.

"So what do your parents think of your move to Milaan all by yourself?"

I shrug my shoulders. "They are cool with it I guess" I answer. He looks at me as if he can see right through me, but he doesn't keep asking.

"We're here" I say as I open the door. I think I spotted a hint of disbelief when I looked at him, but I must have gotten it wrong because when I look at him again he just smiles. Oh god, he really has a great smile. I shake my head, no Mia, I say to myself, we can't go through this again.

"You allright?" Lando looks at me as if I'm crazy, which, I guess I am a bit.

"Yeah, come on in" I say as I open the door for him. When we're standing in the hallway I hear a lot of noice coming from the living room. Great, my roommate is home.

"So when did you move in?"

"Uh, today. I haven't even gotten any sheets" I laugh. Lando laughs. "And here I thought you are such a planner."

"Oh Lando, the things you don't know about me" I laugh. Lando laughs and mumbles something. It sounded like 'yeah same' but I didn't quite hear it. Just when I wanted to ask what he said, the door flies open. My roommate is standing in the doorway.

"Holy fuck" she says while looking at Lando.

"Hi, sorry I just came to get some clothes and then I'm out of your way" I say, but she doesn't have eyes for me, she just keeps looking at Lando. I look at Lando, who just seems a bit awkward. "Lando, this is Kate" I say, "and Kate, this is.."

"Lando Norris" she says before I get to finish my sentence. She hasn't taken her eyes of him. "Yeah, weird, how do you know that?" She looks at me as if I just asked the most stupid question anyone could ever ask. Lando smiles, "weren't you going to change?" He looks at me. "Uh, yeah, one moment, I'll be right back" I say as I run to my room. When I get back I see everyone standing in the hallway. I push through the people to get to the front door. Lando already opened the door and as soon as I reach him, he walks out. My roommate looks at me in disbelief. Before she can say anything Lando grabs me by the arm and pulls me outside. I quickly close the door behind me. I hear the people inside laughing.

"Weird, how does she know you?" As we walk I look at him questioningly. He just laughs a bit. "What, are you famous or something?" I joke. He shrugs his shoulders, "Do you know Formula 1?" He asks.

As soon as he says Formula 1 a shiver goes down my spine. "Yeah, do you work within the formula 1?"

He nods, looking at me as if he is probing my reaction. I can't tell him I hate formula 1, can't tell him I hate cars in general and that I think everyone who drives is a danger to society. So I do what I have done all those years, ever since the accident, I lie.

"That's nice, do you like it?"

He nods. He doesn't seem to want to talk about it, which in this case, I don't mind. When we arrive at the phone store Lando walks up to a guy that works there. I quickly look around the store. This store looks very expensive, although they do have some low budget phones, well low budget, lower I guess. I walk past the MacBooks and softly let my hand slide over one. So pretty, so many functions, and so expensive. I stand and look at it for a while, when Lando breaks me out of my train of thought. "Here, I found this really cool one, it has a great camera, the battery lasts four hours longer, it has a A13 bionic chip and.." he rattles on. The worker behind him laughs at his enthusiasm.

"Sir, could you show me the cheapest phone that I can use to surf the web and make calls?"

The guy looks at me as if I'm crazy, "but ms. this is a really great phone" he says pointing to the one Lando is holding. Lando laughs. "Yeah exactly, we'll take this one and also a case please," he says as he hands the guy the phone he is holding, "oh, and can you install it please, here is her old phone". He also gives him his card like he just didn't pay for a 1200 euro phone. I punch him on the arm. Lando acts as if I hurt him. "What was that for?" He acts shocked.

"For just buying me that phone, I don't need a phone so expensive, you're crazy!" I look at him as if he's lost his mind. "Oh come on, it was a cool phone" he says as if it's nothing. "That phone costs two months of work, and the case he is grabbing probably makes is thee months of work!"

"Don't worry, I can afford it and wanted to do something nice for you. It would make me feel better if you could just accept the phone" he says while looking at me with puppy eyes. I roll my eyes at him, "oke fine, thank you" I say.

"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" He squeezes his eyes. I chuckle, "yeah, what are you going to do about it?" Lando steps towards me. I feel my cheeks turning red. Just as he wants to say something the guy comes back with the phone. Lando quickly takes a step back and clears his throat. "I didn't put it in a bag, as I thought you'd like to use it right away" the guy says.

"Yes, thank you" I say as I take the phone.

"So where are you going next?" Lando asks as we leave the store. I look at my watch and see that I have a few hours till my meeting. "I think I'm going to look around the area, explore the city a bit before my meeting, any suggestion of what I should see?"

"Do you mind if I show them to you?"

"No, I wouldn't mind at all."
